I spent countless quarters playing this damn game, and trying tk make headway.... So glad I get to enjoy it on Emulation software now. 😎 And I've played MANY a D&D campaign irl
I made 3 of my closest friends playing this game we played so much when I was in school that ppl would give us quarters to play just to watch our play through. we usually could make it through on one credit if we avoided red dragon.
I love Dungeons & Dragons Shadow over Mystara slightly more than I do Dungeons & Dragons Tower of Doom. Reasons why? The addition of the Magic User, who was a very popular character on this game. More people played as the Magic User in my opinion than any of the other playable characters. Also, the magic weapons were a lot better on D&DSOM than D&DTOD. There was another game called King of Dragons which wasn't apart of the D&D games but still developed by Capcom. Capcom and Midway were two of the biggest arcade giants back then.
@@LIONTAMER3D Midway was going neck to neck with Capcom for video game supremacy in the 90s. To say some stupid shit like: “Midway cannot hold a candle to Capcom” is asinine.
I played this game in Auckland circa 1997 and the WHOLE GAME was in Spanish. I pointed this out to the arcade owner and he flipped me a dozen free credits.
river city girls, Scott Pilgrim vs the world, streets of rage and mother Russia bleeds come to mind. unless you mean specifically "medieval style beat 'em ups" because all of those are very much modern settings
@@mongodroid4842 i mean beat em up with kind of rpg style like this game. Have class system, like warrior, thief, cleric, magician. Use swords and magic.. with better graphics too.. cause this game was made more than 20 years ago..
Oh this brings back memories. Back in university in the early 90's four of us always played this at the campus arcade. Lots of fun
Any D&D players watching, veterans or otherwise?

@@merciless41582 not a candle, zero (0), none. the number of legendary titles capcom put out is astronomical, midway has mortal kombat & 1942 =/
@@LIONTAMER3D You think Midway only had Mortal Kombat? 😅😂🤣🤣🤣

Can anyone tell me what the Cleric is saying during Turn Undead? I swear, it sounds like "Power of love."
All Return!
@@michaelpf08 I was way off. Thanks :)
Dungeons dragons the tower of doom epic gameplay ★★★★★
Too bad they never release for ps4 and ps5.
I guess I can consider this to be the successor to King Of The Dragons.
I read somewhere that King of Dragons started development as a D&D game, but they couldn't get the license.
Los juegos d mi infancia d mi niñes..m train nostalgia
El Dragon ROJO era ESPAÑOL!!!!

Amazing job.
Ah yes. Dungeons & Dragons the arcade game where animals/monsters can block swords and axes with their faces.
BigJay7410 what can I say, all those players getting crappy rolls.
Their natural armor must be absurd.

Why does the dragon speak Spanish when the rest of the game is English ?
😂😂😂 Pues se llama Rafael y según yo es el Inmortal que aparece en la cueva es también el dragon rojo a de ser por que es Español el Dragón
