Donkey Kong Country 2 - "Disco Train" Synth Remix

This was always one of my favorite songs of the Donkey Kong Country OSTs since I was a kid, just because it's bouncy and fun. Having played through ol' Diddy's Kong Quest recently and been reminded of that, I decided to do a little remix of it with a few of my synthesizer sounds and such in FL Studio. It's reasonably close to the original, but I did riff on it here and there with some added parts - and I couldn't resist adding a rippin' synth solo section towards the end (even if it kind of ended up having a Sonic/Sega sort of vibe with how I did it, oh well!)
The original was written by David Wise for the mine cart/roller coaster type levels "Rickety Race" and "Krazy Koaster"
I do want to mention the "Restored" versions of all of the DKCs' music, in which this guy ( / @jamminsammiller ) re-sampled all the sounds in high fidelity to recreate all the music without having to compress for Super Nintendo (here's the Disco Train one • Donkey Kong Country 2 ... )
It's super awesome how open it all is with info and spreadsheets laying out the original sources of the sounds used, etc. Very cool, so check that out if it interests you!
