Oh wow! They're very cool! I've gone over to Amazon & put quite a few of them into my Crochet wish list to think about, using your link. I've never used them before so I'm keen to see your future tutorial for them. Sorry, but I'm not on Tik Tok, FB or Instagram etc.... YT is enough for me!! 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
I bought six various bases in a group from another company, but have not decided what to use for yarn, or color. Your tutorial gives me some clues for success! TY!
I saw a short come across my feed recently showing a bag being crocheted with one of these bases..they were using t-shirt yarn..it looked pretty good..definitely more sturdy..
I recently purchased some of these bag bases..a set of three oval ones and a set of round ones..I ordered them from TEMU..I had orders for other stuff but needed to bring my order up to $40 AUD..So I just ordered cheap things for crafting that I knew that I would eventually use..they are smaller than I expected..I'll give them a try but will probably sell or donate them when finished..depends how well I go.. an idea that is different could be one of those grandma dolls that you use to store your notions in..it would make a good base for her to stand on, and use up scrap yarn, or partial scrap yarn to stuff her with....
I’ve never used a hard bottom. This looks like something I want to try. Make a pink purse with the pink bottom. That might be my favorite color. 😆 Chief and I hope you are well.
I like that idea,I may buy some, but first do research to see if there r patterns for them,I would like a bigger size,I really want to know why they gave those hook size, have a nice day
Interesting with the feet, never saw round ones like that. How thick are they? & Next time please keep the plastic away from the microphone-my AirPods were crying!
Hi Clare, i can't wait to see your follow up tutorial on a bag/basket design!!!!!
hello! Yes, will have to get onto it soon.
Hi Clare. Well these are sure interesting! I can’t wait to see what you make with them. Thanks for sharing.😊
@@theastewart6721 no worries, thanks for watching 😀

Wonderful! I am currently working on the chicken tutorial and then the bag base will be next :)
In your light, the PINK base turned GRAY with the hot GREEN yarn.
Interesting!
@ecouturehandmades5166 that's because I swapped out the pink base because it was similar to my top I had on.

@grandmasmagic3858 yes it would be. T-shirt yarn makes my hands hurt though 😢
These look great, I'm sure we will all be hanging out to see how you use them Clare.
thank you xx
Groovy ! so many possibilities .
@@mymthegreyful absolutely!
I have those bottoms, I have crocheted a small basket, I like working with them
@@RollinWithRosie awesome, thanks for sharing.
I have never seen those! I'm looking forward to seeing it when you finish (or make a tutorial). Also, I love your pup! ❤
@@trishbresolin8212 thanjs Trish, yes Charley is a cutie 💓

@@bleusilver990 thank you!

@grandmasmagic3858 I will have to check out Temu, thanks for the ideas
My hubby makes mine from birch
How neat!

@vickilee2461 I would never of guessed 🤔🤣 yes all good here, hope both of you are too.
Interesting !
I can't wait to have a play with them. so many ideas.
I’ve been eyeing those purse bases, so seeing them in action is helpful.
Is that your new puppy? What a cutie.
yes, we have had Charley for a year and a half. He is a cutie but all a little crazy
I didn’t know you’d gotten a dog. He’s adorable. 🥰
@@belantww yeah i didn't advertise it, at the time we got him I wasn't really making videos. I will try and share him more often :)
I'd rather go by the mm size because The G could be 4mm 4.25 mm or 4.5mm and M or N can be used for the 9mm
@hbkgirl1982 oh, good to know.
I've been wondering what the bases would be like to use. I have a wood one that someone made for me with a cricut, or similar
oh how nice! I have a Cricut, will have to see if I am make to make my own.

@lifeinjaneyscrochetworld8756 for sure, yes there are all different sizes, shapes and colours.
16:02 ooh, I didn’t know that about the Amazon link 👍🏻 Will it still work if I change country?
@FionaC1 Yes i think so, as long as you first use my link,
I don't shop on Amazon. Found them at Wal-Mart online.
@@Sydroo1969 thanks for the info!
I noticed you were crocheting on the wrong side straight away as I have made about 17 so far with these bases.
Oh! I bet you were talking to the screen and trying to tell me haha, oh well as they say, we learn by our mistakes.

So sorry about the plastic, I will open it off camera next time. i would say they are about 3 mm thick.
@@CrochetwithClare I appreciate it and I didn’t mean to sound harsh if I came across that way 🤟
@@fanciflower no not at all, I love getting feedback!
