Wow what a Fantastic performance of Simone Mantias showpiece for Euphonium, Endearing Young Charms, I've not heard it played with as much stylish flair and showmanship than this. Bravo
I’ve never understood the purpose of an uninteresting cadenza played at the beginning of a solo that has so much scope for virtuosity. I have to say I don’t like this version. Florid bit curiously bland. The playing is ok, I guess, if you’ve not heard Lyndon Baglin or David Childs or most extravagantly, Robert Childs.
