1) I only do **extremely limited** tech support on my Discord server 2) You can't be helped without giving a specific description. 3) It's not a tram. It was developed on the basis of the standardised Duewag tram concept, but it's not a tram.
This looks almost like the "Frankfurt U-Bahn" map/addon wich was released for Trainz years ago. It was not bad for the time. Later, the same developer made an "Frankfurt U-Bahn" Addon for the Train Simulator Classic. Its still pretty good. Is that here a new Simulator? It does not look like trainz or Train Simulator. The sounds and physics look a bit wired and at 0:48 it gets pertty crazy. Whats the point of rebuilding this route in a new simulator when its already available in Train Simulator (even with better graphics and physics)?
That's because I've got the author's explicit permission to use the assets from the predecessor project for Trainz, UF14. What you're looking at is Garry's Mod, a physics sandbox game built on the Source engine. Some clever people have made a Moscow metro simulator for it called "Metrostroi" which I'm using as a basis for building new trains. The U2 you see here also originally stems from the UF14 assets, though I've been continually improving the model and adding better textures. A friend of mine has even made new and more accurate bogeys for it, and another has made the new coupler model. What you're describing with the time stamp isn't anything to do with physics at all, since that is the normal behaviour for Metrostroi passengers. Metrostroi was never concerned with realistically behaving passengers, instead opting for the solution you see here in order to visualise boarding. The point isn't thepassengers, but the fact that I got the train's doors to operate realistically across the entire consist, including the all clear alarm that needs to be acknowledged before departure. The video description is your friend here for further info.
@@lillywho Were can you download that "source engine"? Is it free? Its a interesting concept, thx for your reply. Will you also convert the other trains and the tram? And will there be real maps (like the frankfurt addon)?
hi, I downloaded the github mod, but when I went to Harris I had a bug. the train will spawn without doors and I can't interact with the buttons. I'll give you some advice on how to install the mod so that it works correctly. and tell me how to start the train from the cold start state.
The workshop version is currently broken, which it says in the description, *which you should read, please.* You need to download the more recent version off Github in order to get a working copy.
