Hello! I was beaten up in a hate crime because of who I am. I woke up from a coma not able to hear due to the baseball bat that my significant other used to bring me to death. I died for 3 minutes on that operating table but was for some reason brought back to life. I can't hear because of it. I can hear certain decibels, but it sounds like 10 feet underwater. So, I do get some intonation. After I woke from 6 days in a coma and wasn't able to hear suddenly. It was scary for me. I didn't know what people were saying. I eventually looked onto the internet for help, because there were so many links that weren't closed captioned. I found you. You have helped me to be able to communicate with the hearing world of which I am not a part any longer and allowed me to know I am not alone in this scary silent world. You allowed me to know there is a sound. A sound of which is my soul and can still be heard without words. The soul in me humbly bows to the soul in you.
I have a question, do you have to use your dominant hand for signing? My dominant hand is my right, yet my fingers are not as flexible on my right so I use my left for signing.
