Cam Black that's awesome to hear thanks for the feedback! I've also received good feedback from others as well which has made putting these vids forward all worth the time and effort. Try using asb instead of tint and darker colour threads, can also be a very deadly patten as well. On another note if you've seen my R.B.M's video i put out earlier this year I had some of my most productive days on water of 2017 using them! Definitely, well worth having a couple in the fly box for sure! 😉cheers

Hey Amazon has tonnes if cheap silver window tint and reflective material but ALL of it has an adhesive on the back. How did you get your hands on some without the adhesive? Thanks and great fly, will be tying this for sure!

What's the brand of those barbless hooks from Canadian Llama? Are they still pretty tough for larger fish being that they're a bit thinner?
Thanks! They are Knapek hooks and I think they will hold larger fish no problem, but I still have yet to try them personally but they sure do seem like a solid hook strength wise. This is my first winter tying on some.

5/64 bead on a size 12? what size bead do you use on your 14's or 16's then?
I still tie a wide variety of styles in all shapes and sizes and will still use 3/32's on #12's as well and have beads in both metric and imperial sizes so I get a wide variety of in-betweens. To be honest I used to use the larger beads more often than I do know as for myself personally, I much prefer the look of less-tapered, skinny chironomid without the big-head but still catch fish on both. I will use 5/64th's on many size 14's and 16's patterns as well. It's all personal preference and what you're confident fishing really. The way I see it, as long as it fits on the hook loose enough to still be able to tie the gills inside without struggling I'd say your good. Thanks for Watching
