It depends, really. I worked in a Caribbean shop and I came back from my break to see 3 people shouting at my mum like this. I went mad, started shouting louder than them and asked the 3 girls if they’d like to escalate the situation outside. They calmed down one time and started tryna reason with me, but I kept their original energy and they came back with one of their mums to try intimidate me and I had to tell the mum about herself too. In the end, she started switching on her daughter for behaving in the way that she did and the daughter left with tears in her eyes. Normally I’d try and keep calm or laugh it off when it’s me, but don’t ever run your gums to my mum.
