*_Cody Christian won “Best Leading Performer” for Cloud Strife and Briana White won “Best Supporting Performer” for Aerith Gainsborough at last night’s Golden Joystick Awards!!!_*
Truly my favourite section of the game. It's always heartwarming to witness how Cloud's walls are breaking down, even faster when he meets Aerith 😭 I just feel all the emotions. You are tearing up even without knowing the future events. Im tearing up because I know the future events 😭❤ Such a good game and story.
I think I’ve just been waiting for some crazy shit to go down that’ll make me cry and I don’t want to believe it. But it is a final fantasy game after all 😂
On happier note, both Cloud's and Aerith's VA just yesterday won Best Lead Performance and Best Supportive role Performance on Golden Joystick Awards 🔥
So Aerith is making tough guy Cloud scold flowers now? That's kinda heartwarming 🥰 Great playthough. I love that you're having fun with this game! Keep it up!
Music and cloud kinda breaking through with aerith is a really touching moment your approaching the start of a rollercoaster cant wait i really wish i could see 2 epsiodes a week
I always liked the detail that since Reno said to not hurt Aerith (for some reason), Rude tries to avoid it in your boss fight as well. He just puts her to sleep or trips her.
You will love Aerith's story, it is discovered little by little throughout the game. Regarding Cloud, this is where his character really begins to change, Aerith challenges all his beliefs and little by little she breaks down his wall and And we get to see a little bit of what he's really like. You will love the next chapter.
I would recommend that you get all weapons for your characters. The main reason is that they all have an ability you can permanently learn. Also when you looked at the silver staff stats you were comparing it to an upgraded staff while the silver staff hasn't been upgraded.
Cloudsi! A bit of reassurance for the future: I know the side quests in this one are tedious, but they're MUCH better in the sequel. They're personalized to one of your party members, so there's character stuff in each one. Trust that you're already experiencing the worst this game has to offer IMO. I don't think its that bad, though.
Even though the side quests are sometimes monotonous, i noticed you just smiling and laughing more in general, which is great! I like how in sector 7, when the story is just getting started and nothing is really happening, the side quests are just running around and fetching stuff. I promise you though, these side quests are 150% worth it. They add so much character depth, introduce you to important characters, and give you more fun stuff to do. Then of course, completeing an areas side quests gives you Discovery moments. For example, picking tifas outfit, or aerith talking to the flowers. These moments only happen when you complete all the quests. And go figure, you really loved both of those moments so its definitly a reward worth your efforts. It ALSO makes continuing the main story that much more tasty because youre eager to finally move on.... much like cloud is to get things moving along lolol
Great episode! Aerith is a pretty mysterious girl isn't she? You've already noticed some strange things about her which is very good. That's all I'm gonna say :-) Also her chemistry with Cloud is fantastic in my opinion. His walls don't stand a chance against her charme. I love the way she is handling him.
I've come to REALLY appreciate the ambient dialogue in this game (even if I found it somewhat annoying at first). It's often humorous or amusing, but more importantly adds a layer of world building that can easily be overlooked! 😉
Edit: Combat has a lot to it but my best advice is in big groups clouds triple slash will be really nice. You can combo it with holding square down to kind of suck in enemies that get hit. I’ll post more tips as more videos come out. Don’t want to overload you with info. Edit 2: Also feel free to FULLY heal in between fights with cure. You can always spam ethers or regain mana in combat. Once again here to say that Aerith is the best. Hard to find a better character than her.
Non-Spoiler Tips! -buying each weapon: super important to buy every character’s weapon because remember that weapons GROW with stats by upgrading weapons! So for example you passed on Aerith’s staff which is a mistake. The weapon stats arent final, thats why you want to constantly upgrade your weapons because you make them stronger. And more importantly, each weapon has a Unique Character Ability that you want to unlock! That one has a heavy magic attack thats great for a lot of enemies! So even if you dislike a weapon, just use it and spam the unique ability to learn it! -using Aerith “Arcane Ward” properly: Aerith is a strong character but you have to learn how to use her correctly. Aerith’s Arcane Ward allows ANYONE standing within the ward to do their magic ability twice for the same MP as using it once! So whoever is going to use a magic attack SHOULD stand inside that ward so that it gets cast twice! Her basic attacks also allow her to hit enemies from afar! So just keep that in mind when in battle. -the eyeball enemies: they are NOT immune to everything. What you didn't realize is that depending on the types of attacks you use on it, they put up barriers that REPEL it. So when you attack them with physical attacks, they eventually put up a physical attack barrier which makes them immune to physical attacks. So you want to then switch and use Magic Attacks (Aerith basic attack is magical based) and Magic Spells (like wind, etc). When they get hit with magic attacks they then eventually put up Magic Barrier that Makes them IMMUNE to magic. So then you switch to physical attacks to hurt them. So you have to switch up once they put up that barrier and they keep switching the barrier. And if you look at the enemy, you can tell which barrier is up around them! -Side-quests: yes, the side quests in Remake aren't necessarily the best ever, BUT, Rebirth side quests are a MILLION times better! Just you wait :)
The walking slow sometimes is Square masking loading of area's, so if you notice you RARELY get a loading screen.. maybe between chapters? THANKS FOR THE VIDEO!
Even if a weapon looks lower than something you have that is before upgrades! Also every weapon has a unique ability so the more you master the more versatile each character becomes
You should get all the weapons that you can. They all have unique skills that you can learn and then use with other weapons, and the stats of the weapon can be upgraded with your SP (each weapon has its own SP pool).
I second this request! Once a week is soooo painful! Haha, but thats because I enjoy your playthrough! Def need 2 a week if possible! Especially once you get into Rebirth because Remake is long and amazing, but Rebirth is HUGE and soooooo much to do and explore, you will never get through it if it’s one upload a week.
Yeah... the shipping wars are interesting. One of the biggest problems with it in these new games is that the original story has already been told including the movie, however since these new games I've given hope that things might be a little different people have been taking things and interpreting things in a way to which could support their ship more one way or another. I'm trying to be as diplomatic as possible, and I don't want to spoil anything for you either. I already saw somebody try to say that Aerith helps open him up more... But it is not that simple, and unfortunately you won't find out until the 3rd game as to why 😅
Haha yea I mean, everyone is entitled to have their opinions/preferences and everyone is going to perceive things differently. I just wish more people could learn to be respectful about it. Thankfully I haven’t seen anything that bad in my comments but I’ve seen it on Twitter and I’ve seen other fandoms act crazy about ships. I’m in the camp of live and let live and also why have 1 ship when you can ship everyone! 😂
@@cloudsi agreed, that's why i tried to be diplomatic about what i said. This game is amazing, but there's so much mystery yet to unravel. Enjoy it ALL of the characters are special and deserve happiness
@@lieberte please stop, I'm not gonna spoil anything or try to sway a person one way or another. I was intentionally vague, I'm not here to argue shipping just pointing out basically to keep an open mind. Have a nice day
@@cloudsi The best thing you can do is play your way, see how things happen and choose the path you like more, there is nothing wrong with having preferences because the game gives you both options; but it is true that Cloud is not the player, he has his own feelings and story, so I don't see any harm in putting aside our tastes and thinking what is best for the protagonist and his story since what may be best for him, you may not like or it may not be your preference. That's my opinion.
As I've said before Cloud is NO ZACK that's for sure! He was always a more open hero person and would never charge a price to help someone in need. Also there's something about that old slums lady.
