I think skibi defense should be counted as the DEFINITIVE skibidi tower defense, a tower defense game must be easy available towers, replay value, actual good quality, and whatnot, and some great balancing. I agree with these ratings.
1:16 I will say that those are really old towers but some of them are good still but if you get the latest towers and see the latest enemies it would probably be a 3 or 4 in my opinion

Tds doesn't really have any replay value after beating every mode. And I'd know. I've played both games from the start. I have golden commando in tower battles and started tds from the commander update (the one that added the tower). People saying old tds was better are correct. With the game never really changing, and the new additions feeling pointless, I prefer tower battles. Old tds didn't have the graphics or the cool visuals, but the old game had soul. Additions didn't change the game, but the towers and modes meshed together really well in a way that isn't really seen anymore with the additions of brawler and mercenary base. All towers could be used greatly. Freezer had the ability, commando and minigunner for dps, etc. Tower battles is better imo because of how the game doesn't really need updates. Everyone was complaining in tds because of the halloween 2020 staying for so long, but no one really complains about tower battles because of how there was a solution. Pvp makes the game immortal. It'll never die out. Tds only has the higher numbers because of how they constantly update the game, but the changes are so little the numbers go down immediately. Unless there's a big update like the mega or hardcore update, tds will just be in a stale state imo. I can still play tower battles and have it still be fun because of different people. When tds updates, I try out the new tower rework/mode for like 30 minutes and then stop playing it. Tdx fixed that issue with endless mode. You can always try again because there isn't a definite end. Tdx's numbers will especially stay when they release pvp. When you said that the quality of tower battles is bad, you don't realize the difference between simplicity and bad quality. Tds' new towers feel really unbalanced compared to the new ones. There are so many towers that nobody uses, like freezer, commando, slasher, hunter, paintballer, rocketeer, trapper, electroshocker, swarmer, mortar, medic, etc. Every single tower in tower battles can be used competitively (except cryo and scarecrow). When you see the differences in sizes of the lists, you see that tower battles might not have graphics, but each tower is balanced in a way that they can all be used equally. In my opinion, tower battles in the superior game.
Im surprised tdx isn’t here. Tdx has really good towers with really good animations, optimization is peak and the modes are very fun but can be a little repetitive. The worst part about it is the amount of power creep that it has and how grindy every is. Overall, for me, it’s a 4/5 it’s really good and polished but has so much power creep

There is almost no point in bringing another tower in a tdx round when u have g ranger and g jugg
