Really feel like we need that bit of luck this week. To beat Milan and PSG to lose would be an outstanding result, nevermind any future prospect, just the idea of being in the knockout stages after everything the club and fans have been through (plus the current state of the team) would be an amazing feat. GL lads and lets just make sure we give them all the support guys!

With the injury's we have and the lack of subs we got dropping out so we can focus on the league and a domestic cup would be the better option. So we make it through we what get 1 more game in UCL hoping to go through then knocked out of it, the same time stretch what we have for that game and possibly drop out of Europe Next season, UCL is Amazing yes but not at the cost of being there each year
@@Subsnake5500 i see what you are getting at though but it's not just about having so many games to play its the fact that the better we do in multiple competitions, the more revenue we can bring in. it might not exactly be much but anything these days is a huge help (especially with our current injury situation) PLUS now the rules have changes in buying players which only makes things harder for us now as we cant spread the cost of players out more than 5 years now. all feels like a huge strain on us and I genuinely feel like we need to be takin part in as many things as possible!
It's been a very tough couple of months for the lads due to injuries depleting our squad and tiredness was inevitable with the amount of games and travel involved. I'm so proud of the resilience they have shown. With the character and quality we do have available for tomorrow's huge game, along with the togetherness, high energy and quality front foot passing Eddie, Jason and Graeme have created. As well as our brilliant fans rocking St. James Park. I'm confident we will beat Milan and progress in the Champions League. Howay the lads ❤❤❤
We have the richest owners in the world. All the problems can be solved by throwing vast amounts of cash at them. Buying the best players from the teams above is a tried and tested strategy for rich clubs. So what are they waiting for?

@@gusgone4527 The financial fare play rules along with revenue/turnover plays a huge part in that. We have all of right people in place making astute decisions behind the scenes to grow Newcastle United as a global brand which will in turn allow us to grow the squad with exceptional new talent e.g. Deals with Sela and Adidas.
Rome wasn't built in a day and we have to be patient. Rest assured the club is in safe hands and heading in the right direction. As far as Haaland is concerned - Why would Man City sell him?
And secondly why would he want to leave Man City?
We have to be realistic bearing in mind where we are as a club.

All things considered it is pretty heroic to have kept on grinding the games out despite the injuries, Eddie Howe has never made an issue of it, he knows psychologically that it would be a victim mindset so he has to have a no whinging policy, it is admirable! Good luck

The crowd will have to play a big part in this game because if they are quiet then Newcastle will lose. The players have no energy anyway so they’ll have to draw it from somewhere. This is a situation where you really need the 12th man.

Hopefully the slow and easy training doesn't impact the alert and ready on game days. We looked very slow on the ball and passing speed was lacking in the last few games. But I get it with all the injuries.

Nobody knows until Eddies presser later. Was reported that Dubravka has a shoulder injury, but with regards to Longstaff and Gordon it could be anything, Trippier wasn't seen in training for one of the last two games but turns out he was doing some isolated training inside on his own so it could just be the same for Longstaff & Gordon. Fingers crossed

Aw, a little chilly for ya Brazilians? 🙂 It was 44(F) today near the Scottish border. This squad can beat AC Milan. They need to play with more creativity, cross-field play and speed than they did against Spurs. They can do it.
Everyone says we’ve already been knocked out were a finished club etc you just lost to Tottenham and Everton
Let’s look at the positives everyone knows how bad our away form is but when we’re at home we’re absolutely brilliant we’re at home to Milan and Dortmund are at home to PSG Milan have several of their best players injured and as a result are in very bad form Dortmund who need to beat PSG are in very good form after beating Milan 3-1 and they won’t want to bottle top spot. Think about it logically what a historic moment it would be if Newcastle and Dortmund win and PSG is in the europa league and several champions league winners Milan get completely knocked out of the whole thing! We know we have it in us too win and so do Dortmund yes we were robbed but be positive I think we’ll qualify!

We have been getting progressively more and more tired as the games go on in this game we will be even more knackered. Can't see us getting anything might as well play the kids and get the full team back on track in the league imo. It's out of our hands anyway if PSG win.
For the Champions League if psg win, but if we finish 3rd, we go into the europa League knockouts, just like every team that loses in the Champions League's first knockout stage.

@@AGeordieTravels_ we need the extra cash for FFP, otherwise we cannot buy the better players that can handle the same amount of games as the championship with cup games. The championship play 46 games a season, we play 38. Yeah we have 11 out injured (maybe 12 as people didn't see Gordon in the video), but most of those first team players will be back before the January knockout stages.
We have a lot of players coming back in next month we just got to push through until then. If we want to get the best players we need to be in champions league if possible. The income is massive
Judging by Sundays performance, they should be resting in armchairs! Recovering from being made to walk back from Liverpool. That latest lack lustre collapse and capitulation to Everton, should have the alarm bells ringing in the boardroom.
Has the bubble burst for the new owners and is their purple patch over. I think it is. Time to make good on the promise to buy more world class first team players with perhaps new physios/sports scientists to reduce the number of injuries. Blaming bad luck and Tonali can only go so far.
Let's see more of the famous/infamous oil money spent on big star names. The squad still needs a proven central striker, central play maker midfielder and a tough as nails ball playing centre half. All with experience at the highest level. Men with the same reputation and track record as Trippier. For example - see how much it would take to prise Erling Haaland away from Man City. £200 million should be enough.
Why not boost the Brazilian contingent by splashing the cash testing Arsenal. Let's have Gabriel Jesus too. Buying the best players from the teams above is a tried and tested strategy.

I hope Newcastle United will field their best squad, don't let frivolous players like Miley be forced to play in the UCL, they're not at their level yet.
1) Miley, in tennis, is still struggling in matches from village to village in the $10K/satellite class, she's never won, ranking around 600-800, not really worthy of entering the NUFC EPL or UCL squad, this is the clown coach's job. Eddie Howe, he thought he would be seen as great because he brought a 17 year old calf into the NUFC main team which was really bullshit😝😬😲, the result was that he became the team's weak point and 3 times in a row Newcastle United lost badly to a mediocre team.
2) If Gordon and Livramento have just graduated as champions of $50k, and take part in the ATP $250k qualifications, ranking in the 150-300s, they are forced to take part in ATP1000, ATP500, the result is only great enthusiasm.
3) The others are at the $250k level, the ATP level is 500k, the ATP is $1000k, or grandslam, Isak, Wilson, Almiron, Longstaff, Bruno, Pope, Willock, Murphy etc,
BTW, you need 2 more attackers (Guirassy, Jonathan David, Boniface, Ollie Watkins, etc.) to rotate with Isak, Wilson, Almiron so that the attacker's strategy is not easy for the opponent to read.
