They’d already prearranged with Charles III at what point they were going to leave the funeral, so he already knew about it beforehand, the late Queen Elizabeth II funeral was rehearsed and planned to the letter many years before she died, and that also included contingency plans
They knew which side their bread was buttered on and took good care to stay in Gran's good graces. Both their parents pushed them into the circuit of their much older cousins, William and Harry, being brought to stay with them at the Queen's or Charles' residences during every nursery and school holiday and their father was loudly insistent that they were "blood princesses" without explaining why his brother's girl Louise wasn't. Now Charles will put them in their place, far lower than Andrew could wish and far higher than they deserve.
