    Amazing!! And I had almost feared the project had died. Very cool! I hope you will one day offer them for sale. And hopefully not just on FB. I don't do FB anymore.

    3d printed light Racketts should be redesigned by big music brands to have an easier cleaning and marketed as "pocket bassoons" for a low price! I'm serious, a low cost bass instrument this compact and this light, that you can bring everywhere in your backpack, would be incredibly practical to so many people!

    I'd be interested to see how a rackett consort might be constructed. Perhaps you could do for racketts what Yamaha did for recorders... high quality and modest price.

    And to think of all the trouble people in the modern era went through programming plugins and configuring effects just to get effectively this sound back... I guess the only question is... could we go bigger??? Does physics allow for expanding the rackett to a gigantic column of an instrument that better supports those crazy low notes without mostly just blowing out upper harmonics?

    • @camthesaxman3387
      @camthesaxman3387 Год назад +1

      Yes, you could make the bore larger. The instrument will just be fatter. Or you could wrap the tube into a spiral (with different fingerings).
