Very Cool! So REL Acoustics is an R&D and Design house and perhaps final assembly? Having key partners that understand your requirements and have certified quality control processes and provide measurement data for each MFG lot would be essential in that sort of model. Incoming inspection has to be solid too! You folks are doing lots of things right in such a complex scenario. I have my eyes on an S/510 for a smallish 12'x12' listening room with a pair of Revel F226BE's and a McIntosh MA8950. Hopefully that model of sub will play nice with this combo.
One of the things that is becoming important is energy consumption. Forget green politics, I'm talking about cost. We are all getting screwed now so Class D is more on all of our minds! It's cheaper anyway and in the lower frequency range not as critical as it is for actual full range speaker manufacturers.
