    I saw someone say this. And it should of been looked at in this light after what happened to Eriksen I learnt something I never knew. CPR permitted before 2 minutes increases the chances of survival of cardiac arrest by 70%. A Defib increases it to 77%. Now seeing that on the pitch shows how fast you need to act and that’s what should be took out of It. I don’t agree showing his wife crying but I learnt something. From that. Secondly defibrillators should’ be In every stadium and everyone should learn how to use it.

    • @juliorosa9857
      @juliorosa9857 3 года назад +12

      that is a great point. Not everybody had training on CPR so something useful might come out of it. All the rest its just snowflakes, that cry watching something like this and are ok binging of 9/11 footage, or watching constant war of tv.

      It's fine to say that in retrospect, but in real time, we were watching essentially a dead body and his mourning wife. The players had a sheild around it for a reason, it's a lack of respect and dignity to keep showing it once it was clear he wasn't breathing.
      I take your point that there is a positive consequence, but it was still irresponsible by the directors and broadcasters. Apparently Danish TV cut away to a wide shot of the stadium fairly quickly, and that's the correct course of action.

      What you say is fair ,but my problem with the footage is they zoomed in on his face ,also cut to his partner crying her eyes out ,
      What I see ,it looked like he was dead ,which was backed up by the Danish doctor yesterday ,when he said he had gone ,and managed to bring him back

      @@StephenIC I hope they keep filming when Portugal murders Germany on the pitch.
      I remember when Germany killed Brazil 7-1, and the tv cameras kept showing the supporters crying. That was so wrong I had to leave the room, cried for 2 years, and still recovering, thanks to 5 hours per day with a psychiatrist.
      Modern times are funny - people are so scared of death that they cannot even face life.

      @@jamiegormer1010 yeah I agree mate, I did say shouldn’t of shown his wife. And there wasn’t a need to see his face zoomed in. However I’m not saying they should of showed the whole footage of him gettifn CPR but it did shock me like the speed and stuff. Which sounds daft but like what I got from all of it was that fact.

I watched, but as I did, I kept saying "come on Christian" yes, I was emotional watching, but I felt I was in some way praying as I did, urging him on to win his fight for life as I watched. I wanted to see him regain consciousness, not die before my eyes. Yes in lower league football the ref has the final say. Not sure about professional football tho. But the ref is in charge of the match. A serious injury or incident always results in match abandoned. And is sent back to committee to sort out. Anything over 70 mins the score counts. Anything under and committee then decide. I don't think it was a good idea to finish the game after that incident to be honest. IMO it should have been postponed until the next day, fit the game in at the end of the group stage during the rest days, or just end the game a 0-0 draw and give both teams a point each. I don't think both sets of players were in the right frame of mind or were really focused on the game after that. But from the referee's actions to stop the game immediately after Erikssen collapsed, to the medics, the team captain who gave CPR, the whole Denmark team and the fans of both teams for the heartwarming Christian Erikssen chants, everyone were absolutely brilliant and dealt with the situation very well. I wish Christian a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on a football pitch soon, if he is able to play football again.

      Maybe, but they didn't know he would survive, and this wasn't respectful to him or his family. The video of him dying would have been out on the internet for ever and for his kids to watch in the future. How would you feel about your husband/son/father dying on live TV? and how would you feel about the cameras filming you crying? They should have cut it.

The players were NOT in a position to make a rational decision. WTF?! Its not there decision to make. This is all about UEFA´s commercial interests, its all about the money. Its a SCANDAL, that the game wasnt discontinued! Shame on you for supporting UEFA´s position.
