I have an idea for this Au for you, if you’re interested. The idea is that Deku is actually from the dawn of quirks. His father, Willam Afton, his meta ability, which he later named “Soul Transfer”, which allowed him to transfer the souls of his victims into the object used to kill them at the cost of his sanity. Deku’s meta ability, which he name “living Perception”, which is what caused his nightmares, as the meta ability allows him to create “living” illusions that can of what he and others perceive, the illusion also have a mind of their own and can interact with their surroundings, but the downside of this ability is that it is based on their memory and perception. Another character I’m going to add is Cassidy, since it will spice things up and it will make sense, since her and Deku share the same animatronic, their souls are have linked and merged together, meaning both of their meta abilities have merged. Cassidy’s meta ability is the reason as of why she is so vengeful, it because she remembers, that is her meta ability, “memory”, she has enhanced memory and can manipulate the memory others, but only manipulate memories of others about themselves. Since there Deku and Cassidy have merged, their meta abilities negate their downsides. Izuku’s appearance isn’t real, just a facade to blend in, which also means Inko isn’t real either, just an illusion of his perception of his and Cassidy’s mother and is the reason why he is fatherless. Izuku is know to have weird changes in is emotion and personality at random or when he sees something that triggers him, like the color purple, mentions of his father, bullying, pizza, and some other stuff. Meaning that He tolerates Jiro and Midnight while picking on Mineta.
