    Hey Jag. Great vids. I have my tc exam in December but haven't started studying. I have the whole of November off, do you think this is enough time to pass?

      Hi thank you!
      I would say so - make sure to get in a lot of daily question practice and keep persevering with it. Good luck 🤞

    Did you use ICAEW books only or use Kaplan or BPP also as tuition provider.

    • @jagsjourneyblog
      @jagsjourneyblog  Год назад +1

      I used Kaplan as my tuition provider so their integrated workbook was extremely helpful and then I definitely needed the ICAEW question banks for getting as much exam practice as possible!

    Did you every have a week break from studying? Like for example after completing a exam, did you give yourself a break after? Or are you constantly studying every single day for 3 years?

    • @jagsjourneyblog
      @jagsjourneyblog  2 года назад

      There were lots of breaks!
      The first six Certificate exams I did in a few months (Sept-Dec 2018).
      There was about a month off before starting the content for the next three Professional which I sat in March 2019.
      There was then a few months off before studying for the next three Professional to sit in September 2019.
      The next Advanced set was July/Aug 2020 so there was about six months off before starting for those.
      After CR/SBM Advanced, as Covid pushed the exams back a month there wasn’t much of a break here it was straight into the Case exam which was in November 2020.
      Overall I had the exams out the way within just over two years so three at a time definitely helps

    Can you sit for the all three advanced level subjects at once? If so how hard it is to do and how much of study hours required per subject?

      It’s pretty tough and you basically have no social life if you do 3

      I think you can still have a social life to some extent as long as you start early and manage your time well. This video should help: ruclips.net/video/34U7fZIaYFA/видео.htmlsi=mG_gNYh9R18jW6di as well as my latest study planner: www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1646496665/notion-template-ultimate-icaew-aca-study - all the best!

    How much does an ACA student study for PL and AL papers on average weekly?

    • @rich6729
      @rich6729 2 года назад +2

      You normally have college 6-8 weeks prior to an exam. During the weeks following college, I'd say typically 1.5 hours per day in the week (following work) and 6-10 hours each day at the weekend. The PL is harder than AL - this is because the jump between CL and PL is bigger than between PL and AL. Most people also take 1 or 2 weeks off for each block. All of this depends on the person as some take a 'maximum efficiency' approach whereby they are just trying to pass. Others are gunning for the best marks possible so naturally work even harder.

    it is way easy compared to indian ca which has a wider curriculum and a pass rate of less than 10%

      Unfortunately as I have no experience with Indian ca I cannot make this comparison, sorry!
