Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a far bigger classic than Space Jam!
He was most likely referencing 1939's The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Which in that period might have still had some hype. Disney's Hunchback came out 8 years after Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

You think Space Jam is a classic over Roger Rabbit? Crazy, Roger won Oscars and was a critical hit and audiences loved it too. Space Jam was fine but it wasn't well received.
7:18 Yes, yes you are. This movie is one of my top 5 favorite movies ever! Stamping it as "inaproppriate" and then rejecting it really cracks my heart. If you just cared to research how much hard work, care and love went into this film... Yes, Eddie Valiant drinks alot of alcohol in this movie but in the end he quits it since he realizes it's bad for him! Maybe the kids learn something from that!

Red Hot Riding Hood was what Stanley Ipkiss was watching in "The Mask." The Mask kind of had that Who Framed Roger Rabbit style as well along with dancing and cartoony humor.

Actually, I didn’t miss the Quasimodo reference but I do know that this film was in fact released in 1988 the hunchback of notre dame being released 8 years later in 1996. Just I mistake I spotted, great video otherwise 👍🏾

Fun fact Crazy Nate! Christopher Lloyd played Hacker in the PBS KIDS show, Cyberchase. And Gilbert Gottfried voices Digit. Bonus fact. Frank Welker voiced Abu in Aladdin and Gilbert Gottfried voiced Iago. So, I think it's safe to say that since these two actors were involved in a Disney movie together, it's only fair if Cyberchase and Scooby Doo have a crossover film.

So are you ignoring the fact that who framed roger rabbit came out in 1988 and hunchback didn't release until 8 years later in 1996
you actually got some of your facts wrong in this video. the budget for this film was 70 million USD and they ended up grossing $329,803,958. the film won three academy awards, and if it wasn't for this movie, we wouldn't have other classics such as the little mermaid, animaniacs, or tiny toon adventures. this movie is still considered a very exceptional film, expecially for its time.

In the new Lion King, Pumbaa mentioned how the stars are fireflies, so I thought that was a reference to Princess and The Frog when Ray the firefly is in love with a star thinking it's another firefly like himself.
I know I may be the only one thinking of this but I hope you see this and mention it if you do the new Lion King.
Carlie Hope that line is originally from the animated Lion King (1994) which was made 15 years before Princess and the Frog.

I know what you meant. . The 2019 “live action “ and the far superior 1994 animated. The line about fireflies in the sky is from 1994, which was reused in the 2019 version. So the line is not tied to the princess and the frog since it came out 15 years after the line was written in 1994.
