If I am not mistaken when you were in the market and commenting about the latte that they drink with the straws, those cups with straws are for Yerba Mate. It is a type of tea grown in S. America and very popular. The end of the straw inside the cup has a bulb at the bottom with little holes to drink it as the tea leaves are brewed in it. You should try Yerba Mate, its a little different, but nice.

Hey guys, Tampa here. I heard as did everyone, the flooding a few days ago. So sorry to here about this, let alone see the videos of the flooding. The "listing" is what I would have been concerned about, however, the Captain and crew always come to the rescue, and you two are now back on schedule. Hope you didn't have a soggy cabin. Looking forward to the next time. Sail safe.
Actually it was just a cloudy day with a 30 minutes heavy rain. Something was left open and some carpets got wet. NO LISTING. Atention seeking laying lady made the whole thing way more then actualy was. Our families and friends were worried. The Titanic pose on the nose of the ship in the video was done on the same day before sunset.
Thanks for these vlogs, really impressed how quickly you get them out. As loyal to Royal was really interested how this cruise panned out. Also impressed with you trying to capture the culture of each stop and by your knowledge. Does the ship give you any education about the places you go or is it your own research. So well done. Only gripe was when you asked your husband who was the statue is in the main square, perhaps “don’t know” would have been a better answer than “who cares”, well I’m sure the people from Uruguay care, he made himself look like the stereotype American tourist, if it’s not about the US then, “who cares”. Which is ironically everything you don’t appear to be and why your vlogs are so good.

That’s OK, really not a big point, (aware in a message that might look bigger than meant), Shame on me for assuming your husband was American, must admit my knowledge of Bulgarian tourists is pretty limited 😊 but keep up the good work as you are doing a great job. You must have to really discipline yourself about eating, if I have a 7 day cruise I feel like a pig, after 9 months I think they would be rolling me off the ship.

I'm loving this trip with you! I saw in the news that there was a flooding problem on your ship - the Ultimate World Cruise has caught a lot of attention! It was said to be from heavy rain as you battled storms down the coast of South America - I'm guessing not too big a problem as it doesn't seem to have impacted you? Hope it doesn't impact the cruise for you -

How does entertainment work? Do they literally have 274 different shows? Also what about mdr menus? Surely they don't change every night without any repeats?
The menu is on a 28 day cycle with local dishes introduced in different locations. The world cruise is basically 17 individual cruises back to back, we just started the second one, and tonight was the first repeat. Some areas are hard to fly in entertainers.

I'm used to cruising on quantum and oasis class ships but I assume even the smaller ships have game shows? And lastly I'm wondering what is the deal with bringing alcohol back onboard the ship as usually it is kept until the last night of the cruise but with it being 274 nights if you're taking the whole thing are there any different rules?
