I really apprichiate the effort! You used so many different products to show what this silicon sponge really can do and the effects it gives. Thank you so much! The sponge is really good compared to the other one. But I don't know if it is worth buying it instead of just a normal sponge. I guess it is easier to clean, but I somehow feel like a normal sponge is able to hide pores and such better to even out the skin better. Saving money however sounds really good, the sponge is less expensive, i'll have foundation for a longer time which saves money as well and cleaning it is no problem ether...hmmm..Is it really worth the investion? Also am I the only one thinking that the video is focused af! Not as the camera focus, I mean like..it looks very sharp, the vid quality I mean and his voice is a bit louder (but it seems like he is talking as always, not raising his voive) Also Edward you're so damn hilarious. Love this silicone puff! Thanks, Edward! I wouldn't have known about this if it weren't for you uploading this demo+review. I'm a germophobe and refuse to use sponges and non-synthetic brushes. I've tried the SiliSponge and 3D silicone blenders and didn't like them though. But this works! This and the Gemblender are the only ones I use to apply my foundation now. I think the SiliSponge isn't as good because it's thicker and doesn't have a strap. Thicker means more space between your hand and face when applying, which means it requires more control. Silicone blenders already require more control than regular sponges because they don't absorb products. So the thinner the silicone blender is, the better, and the problem of holding something thin in place is solved by the strap. The Gemblender, on the other hand, also works, unlike the other 3D silicone blenders. I think it's because of its "unique" shape, stickiness and seamlessness. Its shape makes it comfortable to hold, its stickiness restricts the foundation from layering thickly despite the fact that it can't absorb excess products like regular sponges can, and its seamlessness doesn't leave streaks. I hope you try it out!
I don't know if u know this already but alot of foundation no matter what formula will show pores some more than others, so I recommend using a primer of ur choice to help smooth out the skin before hand and will help the makeup stay put longer. It will also help ur skin by keeping the makeup from directly obsorbing into the skin. But I'm not a pro or anything, but just thought I might mention cause I noticed I never really see u using primer so it's just a tip. I brought the Espoir Silicone Sponge and I AM IN LOVE! Even though it took almost 2 1/2 months for it to get delivered from KBeautyBoxKorea (No Im Not Exaggerating). This silicone sponge is soooo good. I have hyper-pigmentation and I didn't even have to use concealer with my foundation after using the sponge.
