    Love the opening and closings of all joints throughout the entire form! Also, the expression of the three external harmonies we can clearly see. Thank you for presenting this expert performance. I'm pretty sure most of Erle Montague's "Original" Yang Style was stolen from this beautiful form synthesized by Master Chen Pan Ling. Thanks for posting this masterful performance of the entire form! 🙏

    While Master Chen Jin-Bao learned the 99-form of Taijiquan from Grand Master Chen Pan-Ling, his version has a number of extended applications and differences (although apparently with similar principles) than the version done by Grandmaster Chen Yun-Ching (Chen Pan-Ling's youngest son). You can compare with Chen Yun-Ching's version here ruclips.net/video/4j-HaFZSafs/видео.html
    Comparing both of these students from Chen Pan-Ling helps me to broaden my understand and realization that the form evolved and has had different applications and interpretations to different people at different times.

      Jonathan Miller I learned from his student, Mr. Liaw T’ien-Ming, but was lucky enough to have instructions from master Chen on Sundays for short periods during my college time, which was already 20+ years ago. I kept in contact with his family members after Master Chen passes away about 8 years ago till now.

    • @岳夆蔣
      @岳夆蔣  7 лет назад +4

      For your interests: The demonstrator is Master Chen, Jing-Bao(陳金寶), the youngest student of Master Chen, Pan-Ling(陳泮嶺)。It was filmed in front of his office/dojo in Taichung city, Taiwan in around 1975-1985. The original film was made using beta-cassette, copied to VHS cassette in 1993 (by me in college time), then digitally copied in around 2003. The resolution during early 2000 was not very satisfactory, although it was done by video company (my own expense). About 5 years ago I tried to retrieve a better resolution using the modern technology. Unfortunately, the video cassette grew mold, and was impossible to retrieve any more……..

      Thank you for the information. It is wonderful to see the Taiji form as it was taught by Master Chen, Pan-ling in such an early video and performed by one of his original students! Old videos of any kind are rare, so your efforts to preserve it are greatly appreciated.

    • @岳夆蔣
      @岳夆蔣  2 года назад +1

      Sorry I can't reply in Japanese: This film was taken in around 1970-1980, in front of his house. Master 王樹金, which you mentioned, was an active member of the 99-health promoting society (99健身會), led by Master Chen Pan-Ling (陳泮嶺). The demonstrator Master 陳金寶 was also active in that society. The 99-form Taijiquan was created by Master Chen Pan-Ling (陳泮嶺), which was never seen before him. Master 王樹金 adopted, modified & taught it in Japan. As the link below, there was a picture demonstrating the two masters (陳泮嶺、王樹金) practicing pushing hands in society, confirming that Master 王樹金 was instructed by Master 陳泮嶺. For your interest, Master 陳金寶, the demonstrator of this video, stood at the left corner of the front row at the top of the facebook page. @@岳夆蔣 Thank you very much for the valuable information.
      It is very interesting.
      I have the impression that the style 99 in this video is somewhere between the standard form of Master Huang Yusheng and the form transmitted by Master Wang Shujin, with the addition of bagua.

      @@osakasenri7352 To Mr. interested in this 99-form Taijiquan: Master Haung Yushen was also an active member of the society. In 1978, Master Chen Pan-Ling's students published a booklet, Master Huang Yushen (黃裕盛) & Master Chen Jin Mao (陳金寶) were both listed as his disciples, while Master Wang Shujin was not. But we can find Master Wang Shujin's name on the founding members of 99-health promotion society (aged 53 in list) in 1957. Master 陳金寶 was also listed in the founding member, but he was too young and the age was not listed. Master Huang Yushen, on the other hand, were not in the list of founding members, indicating that Master Huang should join the society later after the society was founded 1957. So, in conclusion, Master Wang Shujin might joint the society then as a Taijuquan practioner & learned from Master Chen Pan-ling instead of being his disciple….I still have the booklet copy, but was not able to provide it in RUclips dialogue…...

      Master Huang & Master Chen Jin-Bao (陳金寶) learned from Master Chen Pan-Ling during the same period, but might have appreciated different ideas……
