You're awesome. Ialways can clarify my doubts. Congratulations for the excellent work. thanks a lot
Lol almost at the end, love use of "prolly". One of my favorite slang terms
It is such an interesting and easily understandable video lecture that i like it .
The Xn value at the end of the video I believe is incorrect. You forgot to subtract by y1/(L/V) which would give you 1.01 ppm. Which gave me 7 stages.
You are correct that the final xn value should be 1.01 and not 1.06 (did neglect to subtract y1 from yn+1). The stages are about 7-8. Thanks for the correction.
Destro ya Xn can be calculated from the angle of the relation of the linear operation:(L/V)op=187.3=(200-10)/Xn, so, Xn=1.014
I am confused about the formula u used for DOF, isnt it F=C-P+2 ?
Thank you sir! It's really good!
I am confused. Why does the DOF contribution from the gas feed equal "C+ 2" variables?
If T, P, yn+1, and V are defined.... how does that translate to a quantity of C + 2 variables? Is it because the pressure was already accounted for in the "stages" section of the DOF calculations?
I still am not getting the correct xN from stepping off stages. What does Destro ya's fix change?
Isn't this stripping? The pure water is stripping the solute (chloroform) from the gas (air stream), right?
Can you link one for a stripper
I have never understood the actual meaning of DOF.
