    Good to see you out airgunning again bud! Ya you gotta have a stout .22 air power to take those tough hide squirrelz down. When the weather changes so does the wild animals hide fur etc. If you only have a regular powered factory .22 to hunt with youd have keep shots close as possible for maximum damage. I ran into to this years ago w air guns etc. It forced me to purchase a magnum powered .22 pcp. Then i just changed because im older now and just shoot them 20 yards and in w a regular powered rifle because of exspense and dont like chasing stuff down on an altered shot or whatever. Easier to keep it close as possible to retrieve the kill. Its different than pesting or something. I do have a high powered Avenger in .25 but prices are getting crazy! Ive had gd luck w the rifle turned up in power shooting 900 fps w reg turned up and power kit from Terminador Airgunz and Outdoors Dana. Shooting 27 gr projectiles in it. Hits with authority! Built the rifle myself and alot of testing involved and internal work that i dont have time for! If id of not been so bull headed i shouldve just took my .30 cal out when the hides get tougher in the cooler weather or even a .35 cal. That what i do now and realized this. People spend all this money modding and really all you have to do is step up to the next caliber if you need more power! It all goes back to the saying with air guns... Its really a rich mans hobby! Even springerz. Ihey, i use the old timer knife with the hook in it for many years! Bought it at a walmarts. They sell it online as well. Just have to research.😅🙂

    Put a bottle on my avenger now it shoots like sht. going to tear it down. Should I put the stock air tube back on it? Is a bottle conversion bad for the avenger? What should I check when I tear it down and rebuild?

      Hi what do you mean polishing the beveled washer

    • @ezrabrook3993
      @ezrabrook3993 10 месяцев назад +1

      @airgunner0335 sand edges of each bevelle washer with Jewerly type grit. 7000
      Then use bore polish to smooth the whole disc and other internal parts of the regulator.
      Takes a little heat to get reg open.

      @@ezrabrook3993 where's the beveled washer? I have a reg rebuild kit that I will be installing the old regular was leaking air

      @airgunner0335 inside the regulator.
      Like 10 or 13 bevelle washers. That's where the heat/small torch plays it's part 👍🏻
      Do Not Heatup the end, just the threaded area. Snap ring pliers in the 2 holes on the flat part to unscrew it. This is where u need to keep the heat. U should see some bubbles of clear sealant forming between the 2 pieces at the seam.
