Great reaction! Your comment about not going to deep into the new doctor's character, is something that the writers do intentionally. They write the first episode or two of a new doctor in a sort of generic way, and they watch what the new actor does with the new doctor's personality - this allows the actor to personalize the doctor and then the writers pick up on his cues and write more episodes that dive deeper into his personality based on the actor's interpretation of the doctor.

Dare you to smile when you get to season 11 of new Who. Good video. Keep going.
The music in series 5 is beautiful
HD looks good my man! Exciting to get into Matt Smith, he’s different in the best possible way!
Pertwee and Smith are my favourite doctors
FINALLY
GREAT REACTION MAN
Loved this episode! Seems like a cool guy. You and Matt Smiths character.
Failwhale: I got a new camera to record in HD
Also Failwhale: *doesn't put the video in HD*
welcome!! the fun has begun, nice. have u heard of a dvd my son
That was before Rip Hunter became Awesome
This role was Karen Gillian’s big break and put her on the road to stardom. Matt Smith’s 11th Doctor is my favorite era of new Who. He was born to be the doctor, rich with a serialized story arc which I hope you’ll enjoy as I have on many occasions.
Series 5 and 6 are by far my favorite in New Who.
me too and season 7
