Jontur 152,. I bought a guitar years ago,. never played,. now I picked it up a couple months ago,. I play 15-20mins on the couch every night,. I can now play Heart of Gold by Neil Young. So possible., just got to put in repetitive work., and again,. repeat.

Im not familiar with that, I try to stick to more mainstream songs.
I have a question, wouldn't just be possible to play it in standard tuning playing it one fret above taking into account that it only uses barre and power chords?

When you do the E minor 7 I don’t understand it cause you have your first finger on String A fret 7 but how you get the G7 and E7 but also D9 and B8 at the same time. When I try it I either need a lot more fingers or G and E disrupt my D and B so it dosent sound right at all. I don’t get how you play that chord

I only usually use standard tuning. When tuning to e flat for this song do I tune all of the strings to e flat? Any tips on tuning guitar to this tuning?
You want to tune each string down 1/2 step. Depending on how your tuner reads here is the tunings and these are both considered Eb tuning or 1/2 step down.
Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb, Eb (or)
D#, G#, C#, F#, A#, D#
Any tips on how to play that first chord? The bottom e string is played open, whereas the 4 upper strings are pressed on the 7th fret. Been trying this forever...
Its muted or just not used in the first part, then when it goes to Em7 its fretted. I would just barre the whole 7th fret and not strike the high E unless its during the Em7 chord.

How on earth do you manage to fret a d g and b while NOT fretting high e?

Isn't the tuning suppose to be upside down?? I mean at 0:42 it is written E - 0 but it's the first (low) string you play a 0 on... ? Can you enlighten me pls
The tabs are upside down, I just watched it and I'm not sure what your asking?? There is an open Low E string in that chord progression but the higher strings are fretted the picked out starting on the B string for that Fill.
And the X means muted on the high E string for the first chord.
Oh my bad... I was talking about the tuning being upside down, but for a reason that escapes me I in fact didn't read it upside down... Anyway... sorry, I'm new at playing the guitar ^^ Thanks for your reply and your video!

Just release the pressure on that string and it will mute out.

I dont understand how you can play the first chord without touching the bottom string. Is that something not all people can do or am i just comepletely missing something...
It just comes over time with practice but mute the high E it if you can so it doesn't sound.
I'm doing this on acoustic and let's just say it's less than ideal - too lazy to grab an electric, or too stubborn to be defeated?
I'm sure it sounds just a good if not better on acoustic
