upvote for Shazbot! other things, maybe even... tech tips... A; use hair spray on your screw driver - it helps hold screws to your bit B: when filling a LC system like that, pull a vacuum on it - all your air will come out... C: when dealing with old molex - solder on a sata power plug OR crimp on different pins to use an unused GPU or CPU power plug D: use a second when building an LC - use a secondary PSU to power ONLY the pump instead of your full system. E: you can use a hand pump with a fitting to pressurize the loop and ensure it wont loop before hand F: when running a tight loop like this, you can use a T fitting or drill and tap a small 1/8 or 1/4" bung into your highest fittings. you can then run a line up for your fill and air evac port.

No ones going to acknowledge the heart warming note the designer left Linus 🥺
Some things you just keep close to your heart! ;)
Feel like he should have given that note at least another half a seconds air time, he barely acknowledged it

"Today we're going to watercool a gaming PC... GAHHHHH! Just grab a Noctua NH-D15 Chroma. It's fine. You'll be fine."
Lol water inside a pc I don't even oc...
i LOVE doing water systems, with rigid and soft tubing alike. but my daily driver dual atx tower is all noctua air because i like to service my systems every 6 months, with a full breakdown, cleaning, and i do GPU past every year. keeps my shizz running super smooth.
I feel the same way!!

2:20 I loved this small edit
3:59 This is after he almost had a heart attack when Sarah inverted her motherboard to make sure the CPU didn't fall out.
Really like Linus reaction to the price. I mean he could obviously afford it but he is still putting things into perspective.
I can't remember last time I've heard Linus this frustrated about something that he literally starts cursing repeatedly xD
compensator 3 comes to mind
I would buy this if Linus built it like this
Seeing this just further confirms that I don't want to mess with liquid cooling. I've seen other builds where it goes a lot smoother but it just seems like an additional pain and potential concern, and I already get great cooling airflow in my Cooler Master HAF 922 tower with my 3060 ti getting peak temps of like 51C under a stress test load.
Everytime I get a vaccine or somenthing I remember how bubbles are a mfkr
There are, by far, my favorite LTT videos. Partly scripted, but then things go off the rails, and the boys have to use their wits to fix the issue. It's absolutely the most fun, and I love seeing them really have to flex their knowledge to fix the issues.

Linus has a history of dropping things. And, in a recent video where one of his employees, Sarah, built a PC, Linus freaked when she shook the components. This is far "worse" than what she was doing. Haha
This video must set a record for the amount of innuendo, double entendres, grunting and gasping
Not one "that's what she said." I admire the restraint.
The sounds in this video have me feeling funny. If he says "it's so tight" one more time imma upload it to the hub

At least you wouldn't have to put a ridiculous system with an overkill custom water loop in it.
Watching this after building a custom Dual radiator loop in my Ncase M1 makes me laugh.
@@qwertyferixI feel like that is mainly the point for such a specific case layout however. Would be silly to aircool
@@kipandcop1 Well, yeah, but I meant you could _not_ put two 280mm radiators and an ATX PSU in it.
@@qwertyferix It was technically a long SFX psu, and to be fair even with a more "reasonable" build of like a 5800x/3080, once the loop is saturated I think you'd really hurt with just a single rad, and they stuck to two 240mm rads in the video

I don't think I've EVER 100% built a PC that worked flawlessly on the first attempt. It's real in that sense.
"that's really tight" and "they don't tell you how you're supposed to get it in there" had my wife looking over in my direction... :D

If I had a dollar for every time Linus said “thats tight” during this vid, I could build this pc myself.
idk money could be tight since the case costs by itself costs 551
Well that was quite the process
‘it’s expensive’ goddamn you got me thinking about how big apples margins must be
But they also have volume, this case doesn’t
We don't have the volume to make a massive profit on these cases.
If Linus, with all his expertise, tools and extra parts, is pulling his hair... what chance do we mere mortals have?
We're not as clumsy. Remember?
lots because youre not building it in a time restricted environment or on camera :')
Probably a much better chance. We're not that impatient or careless with our installations. Linus has hit solid "don't care anymore" stages of PC building.
@@insideatent Good point. Then again time still works against at least me cos I'll get fed up and that leads to all sort of workarounds or doings things halfway.
@@Hickeroar Not to mention, no user in their right mind would try to stuff that much hardware+coolings into such a tiny case! Oh the hubris!!
I think this is the most times Linus cursed at a PC build.
Makes me feel better about getting upset this morning that my own computers were misbehaving.
I don't think I have ever seen him this frustrated!
The sound of the pieces clinking together really highlights how solid that is. $450 sounded like a lot at first, but now I kind of want one.
It's honestly kind of refreshing to see someone like Linus, who's this huge veteran to computer builds, get frustrated to the point of madness because it's not doing what you want it to do. Makes me feel better about getting mad at builds.
What I learned for this video: This case is cool AF but it makes people who build PCs all the time have a bad day putting it together. I definitely should not buy this product. I would 100% screw up the build

upvote for Shazbot! other things, maybe even... tech tips...
A; use hair spray on your screw driver - it helps hold screws to your bit
B: when filling a LC system like that, pull a vacuum on it - all your air will come out...
C: when dealing with old molex - solder on a sata power plug OR crimp on different pins to use an unused GPU or CPU power plug
D: use a second when building an LC - use a secondary PSU to power ONLY the pump instead of your full system.
E: you can use a hand pump with a fitting to pressurize the loop and ensure it wont loop before hand
F: when running a tight loop like this, you can use a T fitting or drill and tap a small 1/8 or 1/4" bung into your highest fittings. you can then run a line up for your fill and air evac port.
Linus talking to Alex during this is the tech equivalent of helping your dad fix the car
I'm surprised when Linus plays with the parts he doesn't drop em but when he's doing things normally he drops something 😂🤦
I watercooled my PC that was in a similar sandwich layout case a few months ago. My experiences and emotions were accurately reflected in this video.
Setting up a watercooled SFF PC is always an awful experience. But the end result is so nice
I am so sad that Cyberpunk 2077 has been reduced to a benchmark. I am deeply sorry for what all the artist, programmers and other staff working on this game have suffered crunching for years and how they were forced to release a broken game in the end.
