The shit thing is, is that he was forced to leave, by the new owners because they thought he was "too old".
He co-hosts a YT channel now, called "Love Cars".
They sack the Maserati for being too slow and literally the next moment they say "but these are not sport cars, they're made for posing". Well the Maserati is by far the best looking there. And also I think the SL would have lost on the last test, with underpowered brakes and intrusive ESP.

Too right! Maserati is the only genuine 4 seater there. Audi RS5 Cab or Merc E or S class Cabs, or Aston Martin are better competitive matches.

I love seeing Jason's discomfort, I'm pretty much the same. I was a professional driver for 26 years so find it impossible to trust anyone else's judgement or ability.

Maserati. It's the only one in which you don't have to specify the model. Imagine the pity on someone's face thinking you have an A3 or A180 when you tell them you have an Audi or Mercedes.

14:10 Even Jeremy Clarkson himself don't like Mercedes-Benz's stability control system, even for AMG models. That is why in the case of SL, the 350/400 is more than enough for me.
It is a bit of a showpony after all.
Easy choice for me from the trio: the Maserati. But for the GranTurismo/GranCabrio to become a true grand tourer, I don't mind having the same turbocharged 3.9L V8 engine from the top-end Quattroporte GTS/Trofeo.
That Audi is gorgeous...
E90M3 would be my choice of the four…
The merc has its wind deflector deployed , to get a fair reading remove the wind deflector , guarenteed a lot closer to the mazzer
Maserati, of course. But only with manual transmission (as with any car). Money no problem, manual conversion then.

Fair point, but the M3 E90 can have similar performance while having four doors, and that's hard to ignore.

USA ≠ The whole world, so Merc is Mercedes and Mercury is a planet
Ford had a line of cars by the same name. The movie cobra with Stallone had a great example of a Merc… definitely a must see if you haven’t. Us Gen x’ers remember those cars that ford dropped in 2010 as a better car… even than a Benz.

@@kencur9690 You do realize that the RF Miata/MX-5 doesn't exist until 2017, right? Also, the RF is only a relative grand touring counterpart to the sports-minded Miata/MX-5. It has no chance to be a true grand tourer, especially when it don't even have the luxury to shout about.
I'd get an AMG with a V12 or a 6.2 V8 over that one
The Maserati is all around horrible vehicle
So I guess the only other choice is the R8
