- Shasta High School presents Beauty and the Beast, the 2015 Spring Musical. Continuing a long tradition of High School Musical Theater in Northern California.

LeFou stole the show he was so funny and his comedic timing was fantastic!!!
I agree he's so funny and fantastically entertaining better than the one from the 2005 version of the stage musical production.
I love how Hunter slid onto the stage for the closing.
Everyone was amazing. Gaston was one of the best High school actors I've seen so far.

are drama department could never afford this sense we have to fund are selves and are stage is half the size of that (the schools form like the 60's) but we have the most important things amazing singers/ actors.

The beast is awesome
With the show I saw at our local theater they did a fantastic job with the wolf scene there were actors who leapt off the stage stairs they had glowing red eyes and grey fur. We were terrified even my grandma who can’t see very well sad oh shot 😂😍😁☺️
This was amazing!! After watching the 2017 Beauty and the Beast I just wanted more of this story and this play definately satisfied me. This was utterly fantastic!!
I love this. You guys did a wonderful job on this from 2 years ago. It was fabulous and fantastic. Well done. You guys should do this again also my favorite part in this play was The Beast and Belle. They did a fabulous job together.

Let me tell you a funny story behind Hunter Stewart who played Lefou there. Within that same season in the beginning of 2015 he was going to the youth group that I was helping out at and I was getting ready to stage a Passion play and I asked Hunter if he wanted to volunteer to play a role in the show and he agreed. I didn't realize how talented Hunter was. I mean he had already told me that he was getting ready to play Lefou. So I only gave him the role of witness number 3 in the scene when Jesus is brought before the Sanhedrin and that line of his was "He said he would destroy the temple and rebuild it in 3 days!" That's when I started to realize that I totally should have given Hunter the role of Caiaphas

Who plays the beast, Gaston, cogsworth and Lumiere? Everyone did a fantastic job, I was blown away by these characters.

No offense, but the Beast looked so annoyed at the end. During bows you could see Belle was holding people's hands except the Beasts. Everyone was smiling except him.

Thank you so much for posting this! The acting and singing is just so spot on and wonderful! The voice inflection is just, well, amazing! This has especially helped with my schools theater group, we are putting on the musical soon and the acting and staging has really helped and inspired us^-^. Are they a private school devoted to theater or something? Its just the acting is so amazing... Especially Lefou😂 He made me laugh so much😂 Once again thank you! This is truly incredible!

This is awesome!! Practically broadway quality...the sets and costumes are amazing. Belle was a beautiful actress and singer! Is this a performing arts high school?
Madeline Daunt the school is just s regular public high school, with a fantastic choir program and a 30+ year legacy of volunteer support for the spring musical. Glad you enjoyed the show!

Isobel Brady I am not the director but I believe they were rental props from an official prop house? They were the same ones as used in the previous time Shasta High performed the same musical... I think.

i think they may have wanted him to be more "stand-off"ish. if you know what i mean. he's known for being conceited, maybe that's why they wanted his colors to be more "obnoxious" in a sense
