Disappearing Diesels is just a episode of Diesel playing tricks on Paxton and no more. Remember that. No offense. It's just my thoughts overall but we'II see what you think of it and if you understand where I'm coming from or not.
That is a good point & maybe the they should of make more episodes of Edward and Philip so they get to know each other better. Instead of having Edward willingly move out of the sheds, to an engine he knows little.
The episodes starring diesels are my personal favorite. They’d give us as Thomas fans something that could have been done had Awdry given the time to expand the characters, (I can’t wait to waste my breath on these) The Missing Christmas Decorations is a pretty sweet and cool episode that shows how mistreated the diesels were till the end, Diesel 10 had a point about everyone’s preference to steamers, Percy and Sidney’s dynamic was touching and the moral from Thomas was unbelievable. Disappearing Diesels, it gave us a reason to love Paxton even more, his friendship with Diesel might have been toxic, but at least Paxton did the right thing to help him then be mad at him. I’m also glad to see the diesels’ drivers here again. Salty All At Sea, this episode gets some flak and I cant understand why? Salty had a pretty understandable reason for why he doesn’t flies going out to sea, which makes sense given the bridge of Vicarstown. Besides he doesn’t run away and hide, but finds more work to do just to get away from his fear, besides it’s nice to see him take passengers for once. Toby’s New Friend, it develops Philip a bit more. Philip now understands the importance of being quiet and slow for once. Toby’s duo with the diesels hasn’t changed really and he has a blast showing the ropes to them. Even Philip admits that he doesn’t always have to win. And Springtime for Diesel, this episode has two characters that we thought would never happen if this show had ended, Diesel and Daisy. Diesel finally gave us an explaination for why he is so aggressive to other engines and redeems himself to become a better engine.

Um excuse me but Luke’s new friend is a beautiful episode I think you need to make a revisit to it because it’s just a sweet episode the 3 strikes formula doesn’t bother me also I noticed that a piece of music from Henry’s forest was used in this episode
For me episodes with a returning character or a secondary character as a lead like Duck, Oliver, Thw Twins, The SKR crew, Salty those episodes rank higher as the steam team characters bar edward are writte. Badly (Henry and Toby), Overused (Gordon, James, Percy) or extremely overused/shoehorned every episode (Thomas) and Emily I only like a handful of her episodes mlstly her pre steam team ones) which is somewhat due to me having Duck and Oliver as my favourites and Duck was going to be steam team but in the Brenner Era I enjoy some emily episodes again but mostly (I think it was bwba) where she got her number). I think the steam team basicially was a bad idea as the show was better as an essamble. Id have prefered a quota that Thomas has to appear in a role for say 10 episodes (not always as a lead) and the rest can be devoted to other characters/areas and Tidmouth back to being whoever is near at night
Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy and Toby are like main characters to me and other fans which is obvious from the first season so perhaps a main group is required for them regardless of ensemble.
@davidbrennan3967 Edward was the only one who didn't suffer too badly from overuse or bad writing. From season 8 onwards episodes focusing on anyone else was rare or they'd be shoved into a co lead lead role. Thomas and Percy suffer with it the worst And also Toby, Edward and Henry were written off the main cast in later seasons. The show should have remained ensemble preventing overuse forcing the steam team in every episode as a lead, Co lead. Like 1 episode lead each and rest can be supporting roles as the other characters get their stories
@davidbrennan3967 duck also is a main character. They ram out of episodes before his first story in the first season, went to England with the others and was going to be in the steam team. If we had to have a steam team it should be all engines 1-12 and Emily given her number earlier
@@Joey15811 At least The Brenner era give focus to other characters besides The Steam Team. Only trying to have you understand. Do Thomas and his friends from the first season feel like main characters to you?
I think in my opinion that the brenner era (Seasons 19 to 21) is the only 'New Thomas' I like 👍 👌 dont worry, I still LOVE the classic series and model era though
I’m not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I do like Emily in the middle. I just feel like that is brother behavior. I have some myself. I think Donald and Douglas didn’t argue during and after their escape was because the situation was serious and a life was on the line. Once they opened up and knew they were going to stay, they showed their true colors as brothers. That is, just my opinion of course.
All narrow gauge engines had been absent though 19-24 that was lame and at least the Trainz era of Thomas is half model half cgi has comfortable characters with same narrow gauge engines that truly has talk about them
A Shed For Edward should be the worst, but I get why Henry Spots Trouble is the worst. 3 strike formula, Henry being a dumbass, ugh. Signals Crossed is a bad concept. Toby shouldn’t be scared of the junction, he has been there dozens of times. Emily In The Middle is a guilty pleasure for me. Flatbeds Of Fear is sh*t, but I like how Emily is written as the voice of reason in it. Away From The Sea was a good concept. I kinda like seeing this insecure side of Salty, something you wouldn’t expect from such a nice guy like him. Stuck In Gear, Harvey’s insecurities are somewhat consistent given how he was in Harvey To The Rescue. But it is a bit extreme. The Frozen Turntable was a perfect story for Gordon, I love the beautiful night shots, and Gordon’s karma. To me, No Snow For Thomas is a repeat of Thomas, Emily & The Snowplow, but in that episode, Emily actually played a good part, whereas in No Snow, Emily is kinda an NPC. Daisy’s Perfect Christmas 🎄 is visually beautiful. The Fastest Red Engine On Sodor felt like a bit of a wake-up call for James. He doesn’t seem really boastful or annoying after this. And yes, the crash is f*cking awesome. In my top 10 crashes. Bill or Ben is just simple, enjoyable fun. The ending is beyond funny, the way they twist the punishment around in their favor is beyond priceless😂. I love the dynamic between James and Edward in All In Vain. Of course the Small Railway Engines stories would be at the top of the list. I’ll collect Take N Play versions of them all someday! This whole video made me smile, I respect your dedication to make this.

Thomas and Percy suffer with it the worst
And also Toby, Edward and Henry were written off the main cast in later seasons.
@@Joey15811 If you mean by adding Oliver, Donald and Douglas in it then yes, I agree.
I think in my opinion that the brenner era (Seasons 19 to 21) is the only 'New Thomas' I like 👍 👌 dont worry, I still LOVE the classic series and model era though
You really like Mario don’t you
I’m not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I do like Emily in the middle. I just feel like that is brother behavior. I have some myself. I think Donald and Douglas didn’t argue during and after their escape was because the situation was serious and a life was on the line. Once they opened up and knew they were going to stay, they showed their true colors as brothers. That is, just my opinion of course.
Do you guys think that season 19 is underrated?
Because i think it is
What do you guys think??
I think it's a middle of the road Brenner season. Not the best, but not the worst either.
How dare you take the idea I mentioned on Twitter and never made a video on??? 😡😡😡 JK good vid man
Thanks lol, tbf I've been working on this one for months. I started writing the script back in April 2022
The revival era should be like this era.
the top 3 felt verrrry forced
Donald and Douglas arguing to much in Twin Trouble Bad Day At Castle Loch Love ME Tender and Emily in the Middle
I’m either blind or it’s not here but can someone show me where his review on ‘The Big Freeze’ is? I can’t find it
It's at 19:29
@@thebrendamengine thx
when i was 6 or 7 and 1st watched diesel and the ducklings i cringed too lol
The fact you said Samson has a better character than Porter is unforgivable. I don’t hate Samson but since porter is my favorite cgi only character of the entire series, in my opinion, saying Samson is better than him when it comes to character is a sin.
I hate the benaissance era sometimes
11:01 for me
21:48 21:48
As much as OII love the Brenner Era, I do hate how Sir Topham Hatt was treated. To me Big Freeze could've of been episode that Boco returned in to pull the Express.
1:37:07 *one of the best crushes of cgi series. XDDDD you're comparing real physical model crush to a cgi made one?
I mean, I do think The Fastest Red Engine on Sodor's crash is up there.
i did not come here to hear about that God awful reboot.
Leave twin trouble alone
How dare you hate Luke new friend
YOURE INSULTING SOME OF THE BEST BRENNER ERA EPISODES! HOW DARE DOU?!!!!
I hate Andrew Brenner, he actually ruined Thomas! Why am I watching that show in 15; I should be watching other things like South Park & Family Guy! - I hate Thomas now, why am I watching this still. Please explain @BrendamEngine!
