Not sure how balanced it would be but I wish the Scythe heal could be used on summons to reave health from them. It would feel consistent with their themes of life and death as well as tackle the issue of what can be done when bosses attack from afar.
I main a Nightblade tank and I think the self healing on the Necro tank is abysmal. I even had to use a 5 piece set to boost self heal(almalexia). The scythe gives next to nothing on boss fights, only works when there are lots of adds. The mender heals so little I had to complement it with resolving vigor. I run with finder pugs in the vet DLC dungeons most of the time and often have to make do with a dps queueing as a healer.
necro doesn't have good burst self healing. what it really is good at tho is sustained healing over time and mitigation with restoring tether and mender. main benefit of spirit guardian is the 10% damage reduction you receive.
I understand why you need to use Veteshrans Sword/Board to add pulls. However, wouldn't switching to masters Be tedious, especially when you have to then switch back to Vete? Especially when if you switch to masters youll have a bash skill that doesn't offer much. So youd have to switch a skill or like make 2 build slots and pull that companion out. Like you have to stop momentum of a dungeon. Small thing but Just would the better middle ground be to keep Vete on or take the lower time for Beckoning armor to proc?
Why would use you Blastbones to create a corpse since when Spirit Guardian die it creates a corpse? Then you use Necrotic Potency instead of Diaden Pain, Empowering Grasp is for healers to give Empower to the group, should be using Ghostly Embrace since it's a CC skill and minor maim's enemies. Pearscent is a OFF-TANK set and very niche at that to, use for Progression groups to cheese it and be able to get revived and not learn much, they will still be repeating the same mistake they made which wiped the team in the first place, I personally dislike that set. You offer some rather poor advice. @ElderWiz, Self-Healing on a Necro tank is absolutely off the charts, imo. I'm Unkillable how much Healing I get just from using 1 skill, I can instantly get over 10k Health back, would not call that abysmal, and if you have few enemies you instantly will heal to full health.
He built his necro like shit lol 😆 🤣 I use SBB and mender and summoner armour for 3 corpses and hoo er them up for ulti, it's also really good dps in raids too I can sometimes out parse terrible dds on my necro tank with a good rotation
Spirit guardian cant generate corpses more than once per 8 seconds and if you're goal is to gensrate and consume corpses you should 100% be using necrotic potency over deaden pain. Crazy ulti-gen is one of the defining features of the necro-tank if you don't play to maximise that you're wasting your own potential.
very nice thank you

Do you really need the void bash that arena is impossible I've tried it many runs and it's just to painful so is there a replacement for it

Exhilarating drain can be useful for self heals and ult gen.
@@nixie_lynxgood to know, my necro is a vampire
Lol.....
@khyroz9519 l2p issue my guy, I'm smoking vet HM clears on my necro tank

For console yes it's better to keep Vat on but for PC you can switch the weapons + skill with addons
@The Tank Club I gotcha, Thank you for the reply. Was just wondering, I forget PC has Addons and such.
Worth it to be an Imperial on a necro to help with sustain or is Nord just the king for all tanks nowadays?
Nord is the king yes. Its so easy to get to resistance cap, so you can focus more on sustain.
@@TheRoibm True plus if youre building for ulti gen the passive gaining ult is a nice touch
no game play to showcase how to tank on this build? why?
This was done live on stream so I didn't overlay doing content but you can see me play Necro here - twitch.tv/tc_lee13
ever one bar oakensorc build is using exploiter to get extra damage from their wall of elements. These builds are everywhere.
