You have to realize this was not a solo by Derrick Jackson. He was backing up a choir. That makes a big difference. If Cory Henry was backing up a choir he would play it different.

1. There’s nothing wrong with Christian or Alvin’s playing. They don’t have to/won’t sound like Derrick Jackson. 2. Please post your videos because you sound like a hater. Chances are you not only won’t sound as good as Derrick with “all the little nuances”, you probably don’t sound as good as Christian & Alvin either. Being old/old school is not a reason to disrespect young musicians. Remember, we know who they are. We have to go ask around to find who you are.
