Nah, I don't. Bates diop is very similar in size and skill set defensively to precisious. I'm not a fan of roster redundancy, and who is to say diop won't have the same impact and play that precious did? Let's holla at Charlotte and see if we can grab nick Richards without giving up deuce.

I truly believe precious.A Chua needs to be resigned by the New York Knicks.The next should do whatever it takes to sign him if they do.That then get this other guy from Charlotte is a good look.If not the nicks are in serious trouble
I think the Knicks are waiting on the dollars being offered to Precious as they can match any offer. I would sign Bertans also. The idea is so we can give certain players quarters or days off and not wear them out.
Danny Ainge price is too high for what the Knicks are willing to offer and other teams could offer more.
Shouldn't be a crazy bidding war for Kessler. He's trending toward being a cheap veteran guy. Drummond makes 5 mil and Jonas makes 10. They've both filled the stat sheet more than Kessler has. Kessler is an old school role playing big. Can't shoot a lick. I'd rather have Nick Richards, who would be cheaper to attain (most likely) and he can actually hit free throws...which would make him a nice compliment to Mitch.
The only real concern about Precious Achuiwa is that he is undersized as center. Besides that, he does a great job at everything else. If he can add a 3pt shot in his arsenal, he become even more versatile and valuable 🔥
Plz sign Precious, and forget about these washed up players. Enough already.

Precious can contribute 15 minutes per game to any contender. Especially in the regular season. The Knicks should be happy to have him as a third center.

Mark my words, the NBA is slowly moving back to having a dominant center. If they can shoot 3's great but the big body centers are coming back.
I like Bertans, but I don't understand why the Knicks want to sign a guy that is an "anti-thibs" type player. He will likely fall out of favor with coach just like Fournier and waste space on the bench.

I've liked every single move Rose has made...even the guys Thibs didn't bother to use. I gotta admit...Bertans would be a head scratcher. Thibs played Deuce over Precioius because Precious can't shoot. I think he'd play Deuce over Bertans because Bertans can't do anything but shoot. He'd likely trust Deuce to guard a big more than he'd trust Bertans. I can't envision any scenario where Bertans gets a single meaningful minute on a team like the Knicks.

He did it last year against us in the playoffs.if your third string can come in, get a charge, knock down a open look, that could be a back breaker. He's a nice piece, but 9 million is 20+ minutes/starter money. Was hoping the Knicks could keep him. No way they can at that price if I understand the cap correctly.
