I don't know. Behind all the warm smiles and handshakes, I think Saudi Arabia would be happy if Israel destroyed Iran, than if Israel were itself to be destroyed. Unless I forgot, it seemed just the other day that Iran-backed Houthi rebels were firing missiles supplied by Iran into Saudi Arabia, before they declared a truce after a long bloody intervention by Saudi Arabia in Yemen. Israel never committed any aggression against Saudi Arabia, but Iran has acted very aggressively towards Saudi Arabia. Also, in case we forget, the Shia and Sunni religion and their sharp contrast in the way they practice Islam reminds me of the feuding and rivalry between Protestants and Catholics in practicing Christianity.
