Me, too. I listened to my late Mom tell me, every time she saw me, how she promised she would “never offend people with her wrinkled old arms”. I wear sleeveless everything, shorts, swimsuits and mini-skirts, flabby or not. We shouldn’t be cool and comfy just because we’re older or less toned than a size 2 16-year old? I don't see any men doing that, their huge beer bellies are hanging out everywhere! I’m with you, friend! Comfort first, always. Congratulations on your weight loss, I’ll bet you look great! Age 64🙂

Agree so much with what you said about showing our less than desirable body parts. My weight goes up and down (now going down) but I finally stopped caring about showing my arms when it is really hot. I’m 59 years old but wear spaghetti straps or strapless all the time in the heat and just don’t care. I see women much larger than me who I think look so cute in summery outfits so you are so right, we are our worst critics!
This year I decided I am going to wear shorts, dresses and short sleeve tops. I am dressing for Me and no one else. I just bought a bunch of tops and a dress thats sleeveless! Huge for me. Thank you Anna for Always stressing the need to dress for self. Mwah and a big hug.

Awww, your arms look great! Really. I absolutely love that silk skirt. And linen. I am focused on adding natural fibers into my wardrobe. Wool and silk made SUCH a difference last winter; I finally wasn't miserably cold.
I adore a cashmere sweater over a thin, long-sleeve, silk knit tee every cold day, the comfort and warmth are sublime! Plus, the tee keeps the sweater clean. Life’s too short to wear hideous, sweaty, itchy plastic clothes. Natural-fibers only forever🙂

Love the outfits on you, especially the long skirt with the red tank top! I dread those hot gross days, I don't like wearing shorts anymore, linen shorts look horrible on me, so I wear bermuda looking shorts, TY for this video!
I will say that my favorite looks in this review were the combos involving the beige/gold long skirt particularly with the red top and the matching beige vest top. I'm not certain of the material (satin-like) but for reference it was about 6 to 7.5 minutes into your review. The opening beige slacks and crop followed by the mini skirt to switch with the white button down probably my next favorites because the modifications were perfect in my opinion especially concerning comfort, breathing etc.

It's interesting how much of a difference those small changes made to the outfits. One thought though, about embracing the imperfections: maybe we could stop even thinking of them as imperfections. It's not that we need to go to the other extreme and think of (fill in the blank body part) as perfect or lovable or attractive, but maybe just be more neutral about it.
Oh, it’s so hot in Texas. I wish I could follow all these, but I am not comfortable showing my arms or legs after a large weight loss and plus everywhere you go inside is freezing so I always have a cardigan or a long sleeve shirt handy.

Linen and cotton. No tight clothes. A looser fit is better for comfort and to keep you cooler. Stay away from clothes that ride up and that you constantly have to adjust.

One problem is that is you have a larger bottom half and smaller top half, a black top and light bottom doesn’t look great (on me anyway). But a white top and black pants looks like a uniform.
