My dad just recently got a nespresso vertuo plus and me, despite hating coffee before this, immediately went oh look at this shiny new coffee machine let me magically transform myself into a coffee girl from now on. Seriously though, your recommendations and videos are so helpful lol! I'm definitely enjoying coffee way more now! Before I tried coffee drinks multiple times and it always ended up too bitter for me, but I've been trying some of the pods and syrup brands you've recommended and have been loving having an iced latte in the morning now! I love making it at home since I can taste and control everything I'm adding or what type of coffee I'm using too. I've been loving bianco leggero and double espresso dolce/chiaro.

My favs: CUBA, d.e.chiarro, iced leggero, il cafe, half cafe, Ethiopia, Altissio, Diavollito, Intenso, Mexico, Puerto Rico. Cuba is what sold me on Nespresso and they seem to never have it in supply...discontinued or crop issue?
I also love most of your faves the only ones I don’t love are the vanilla custard pie and the caramel cookie., I was surprised solelio didn’t make your list. I am also on a no buy.. love your videos 🤗

Orafio is my absolute favourite. I find all the rest either too weak or too strong. Have u tried bianco piccolo yet? It seems to have similar notes to orafio

I just got a nespresso machine, and the starter pod box it came with and the first pod I had was Columbia and it was amazing taste but the rest were downright horrible I couldn't even finish, Tell there's better tasting pods
I would never use those sorry! I think they can potentially ruin your machine and it’s no longer convenient so at that point I rather use my manual espresso machine.
I’ve been on a no buy as well. I have 5 capsules left and it’s ice leggero, which I’m not a fan of. I have come to the conclusion that I prefer hot coffee than iced. It can be 100 degrees outside and I still would prefer drinking hot coffee. My favorites are always the caramel cookie, vanilla custard pie, orafio, toccanto, Il cafe, and I love making dirty chai tea lattes with la cumplida. The next time I buy I want to try DE dolce.

I guess my favs are slightly different cause I don’t think u should have to put creamer or syrup in the coffee to make it taste better. A good coffee or espresso should be able to stand on it’s own

Limited edition capsules only come out every few years sometimes and that was one of them

Agree with a majority of your list! No one seems to give Stormio any love. Its really good with salted caramel syrup and a caramel creamer.
Ive tried it a few times but I just don’t like it’s taste ☹️

The Costa Rica is really good for iced, I use it a lot.
Alex how long are the pods good for? I was given a bunch but not with the box and there isn’t an expiration date on the pods.
The date is on the box, but nespresso says they will loose freshness past the date but still to use

I think right now the most you’ll get is 7oz from the big coffee pods. Those are coffee not espresso.

I like the Meleozio it came out like a espresso but it’s a coffee? I didn’t like the voltesso mine came out like a coffee
Your machine is probably not working properly if it’s brewing the pods wrong
I suggest calling their customer service for help because Voltesso should come out as coffee

I totally agree with the iced leggaro. It loses so much flavor and it’s very watered down.
