I just got some thought quite recently. Do you remember when after an April Fools joke people wanted Shaggy to be in Mortal Kombat? I think this guy fits pretty well in the game. You know, he is actually the Grim Reaper, but also acts as punisher against those whom disrespect the life and death. The Story ark could be very simple: Death the wolf got sick of how the Tournament and its participants play on a frivolous way against those elements, so decided to put an end to them for good.
It's my favorite music rn it just sounds so sick! It's also perfect for a very hard boss fight! I wish I could download it on yt but I can't since you restricted it- oh well atleast I can still hear this masterpiece

If there were a Puss in Boots 2 video game, I can see Death having two boss fights: The duel in the bar, where Death beats player, and the battle on the wishing star where the player uses all their skills to finally best Death. The second fight is where this theme plays.

I want there to be a Puss in Boots 2 game and I want Death’s boss music to be this.
He may even be the second boss after the Giant of Del Mar, but that would be a hopeless boss fight where you can't win. Then when you fight him at the wishing star, you get him close to empty health until he heals himself, then a cutscene shows where he let's you live.

@M. Izaguirre use it in place of an arena and fog wall, so you can't run away.
The wall of fire is a ranged projectile that becomes a dot hazard for a bit to keep up the pressure
Interesting crossover, considering the complicated relationship dark souls protagonists have with death.

That's the most perfect sentence between death and the dark souls protagonist I've seen
I was trying to think of something clever to say. This beats anything I could come up with.
That fit so beautifully, too. The chosen undead/bearer/ashen one are damned to just keep going until they see their mission through. So eventually, they will have their final run-in with Death...
But unlike Puss, they never laughed at Death. They accepted it. And every rebirth is a waking nightmare that death only offers a brief respite from.
I feel as though Death would pity the Dark Souls Protagonists, and respect the perseverance they have.

Of course thanks to this theme it was a success, everyone of my friends enjoyed it. 😎

Reward: Ninth Life's Sickles
Suggestions: Magic is useless against it. Make sure to have Tears of Denial equipped as well as a light and fast weapon. The battle will take place inside a star-shaped arena, stay far from the edges or you will die the moment you touch the light.
PHASE 1: Twin Sickles
Very fast and aggressive, its main attack is a sudden charge followed by three vertical slashes. Stay far and wait until it launches the assault, then avoid and hit three times with fast attacks. Try to not stay behind its back, because it will make a powerful turning slash difficult to avoid. Be careful to its parry technique that leaves you exposed. From time to time it will attack you creating tongues of fire.
PHASE 2: Dual Sickles baton
Once its health bar is halfed the second phase will begin. It becomes even faster. Pay attention to the frontal rotating assault and the following four slashes, they inflict "curse". Instead of the tongues of fire it will start calling burning geysers from the ground, pay attention to the shadows on the field and roll around. When it has only 1/4 health left it will start using its most dangerous technique, "Death Whistle". The moment it vanishes, just keep rolling around to avoid its assaults until it stops whistling. Do not waste time trying to parry or block, because it will always appear from behind. Since this technique insta-kills you no matter your health, once again make sure to have Tears of Denial equipped, and remember that whenever you remain with 1hp you will have no time to drink a potion.
I love this as the concept for a wolf man boss. MAKE IT HAPPEN FROMSOFT!

Gwyn's theme really fits anywhere, love it
Real talk, that was a prime example not just of a way to represent Death, but of how to make your villain truly terrifying. On sight, this man was a full-bore panic attack for Puss. Not to mention, I thought the movie itself did well at making a statement about anxiety and ways to cope with it.
If you think I wouldn’t catch that dark souls piano melody towards the end you’d be WRONG. Beautiful touch adding that in to an already menacing track

i like how more serious this is with the art showing that death is not joking around, the blood on this teeth and blade shows that he is not being held back by anything and that its free game for him to be brutal or not with puss in boots.
Best villain than most Disney ones
When it comes to it's multi movie series, Dreamworks tends to do well in the villain department.
I've yet to see PaBtLW, so until I do, my current fave dreamworks villain is Viggo Grimborn..

@@craytherlaygaming2852 Hard agree I absolutely adore DreamWorks villains, from evil incarnate to broken/sympathetic to a force of nature, DW knows how to make them, Tai Lung's iconic quote ("At last a worthy opponent our battle shall be legendary") has been referenced and memed up to JJBAs levels of popularity but my personal favourite villain is Shen from Kung Fu Panda 2 (excellent voicing acting, fantastic fighting style and a motive that directly connects to the main protagonist; Po).
Honourable mention to Pitch Black for being the OG force of nature before Death himself.

Ok so i dont think enough can be said how awesome and amazing this music is but can we take one moment to appreciate how intimidating and truly amazing the artwork for this is? i mean the blood the notched cats heads etched out in the blade great detail there. The snarling visage the hands gripping the blades the blood red moon hanging like doom itself behind him this. This is awesome whoever drew this deserves some high praise this set the mood for the music.
You know that meme where the Tuba guy fights the bosses of other instruments?
This…this is the orchestrator’s theme. And you’re fighting not just him, but the entire orchestra. And when you think you’ve won? Nope, the next phase pits tuba guy against the tubas he adorns.
This isn’t just the final fight. This is the ultimate ending to the journey. The ending of all things, including your own dreams.

I was just thinking "The cover art is a bit vicious considering the movie though..." before remembering how many people died under child-ish censorship. Death by Midas touch, Puss in Boots death compilation, 1st Baker reduced to bones, exploded into unicorn confetti(one can also take into account the dead baby unicorns there...), the rest of the Baker's Dozen and so on...
All I can think of as an opening quote to this kind of fight is “Not even Death will grant you the mercy you’ll be begging for”
When I started listening to it, everything started normal until the interlude and I felt like I was fighting for my life against a Darksouls Boss who reset his life bar and I ran out of stus to heal myself.
Delivery is so important. You my friend, have certainly delivered.

Honestly, the idea of a boss that appears randomly at a place that might have once been a bonfire/savepoint sounds incredibly interesting. Death would suddenly appear, possibly crushing the bonfire as you approached. You don't get the savepoint that was lost back until you beat him, and if you wait to long he keeps shutting down more of them.
That would be anxiety inducing . And maybe before, when you sat at a remaining bonfire, there would be a chance you would hear Death whistling from somewhere nearby, and each time he shuts down a bonfire, it sounds further and further away.
“You were foolish enough to face me head on, like so many others you believed you could defeat me, now your hubris will cost you your life. So you better put up a good fight.”
The title says ''Evil version'' like the original theme wasn't oozing with malice already. This is a truly phenomenal remake though.
