"With a system that seems to act without a conscience, where nobody seems to be held accountable for their actions, we ask: what choice have you given any of us?
For the families of Eric Garner, Mike Brown, Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice, and any other family suffering losses at the hands of injustice; we will stand beside you until we see things change.
We encourage you all to find local protests and demonstrations in your area and stand with those looking to change this world for the better." - Stick To Your Guns

What message? We’re all poor lil oppressed babies? You will hesitate, your will rage for the machine, you will cower. You already do. That’s why no real change will happen.

I'm sorry but this is not solely about Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown, or Eric Garner. It's a mere flick of what this song is about. It's not only about police brutality, but injustice as a whole. War, misrepresentation, Wall Street, corrupt politicians. This song is about everything wrong in America that our government tells us is right.

+Its Webzic I guess ADTR had some positive influence from STYG since this was recorded in 2014/released in 2015. It's just the beginning lead that sounds the same, but the tempo is far different and the rhythm guitar is worlds apart; no one sounds quite like STYG's rhythm guitars. They're an awesome blend of old and new school hardcore in totally their own way.

I was hoping for something sounded a little different maybe more on the traditional hardcore punk side. It's kinda boring to me actually.

The only thing this song has to do with the 3 police brutality stories that made headline news the last couple years is that they fall under the category of injustice. This song is about three women who were sentenced to 2 years in prison for peacefully protesting the rebuilding of Enbridge oil pipeline after the Kalamazoo oil spill, one of the largest on-land oil spills in American history, and also the fact that they were jailed to put pressure on Obama and the U.S. State Department to approve the Keystone pipeline. It's good that songs like this carry there own meanings for certain people and could raise awareness (even if those 3 police brutality incidents were headline news stories) but this song is definitely not about racism at all and I dont think Stick To Your Guns is too big on the racism topic. They're generally more about people as a whole dealing with injustice in my opinion.

my complaint about this song (and hopefully this doesnt occur on the album) is that the volume is really low, and it was like that on nobody as well...Otherwise, this song, and nobody, were absolutely badass, and I cant wait for this to drop
