Honestly i wonder if other vkei bands will get a sub boost too in the near future and how big will it be since people might have never known about the genre before and might use the ACME recommendation from connor as a stepping stone. I'd wager one or two percent more than the usual growth at least.

He was only there to have fun and learn but they seemed so threatened by him, they took shots at both his ego and well-being. Either that or they were just bullies in general that wanted to make fun of him and make themselves feel superior... It's fine that it's a competitive business and that definitely was a side to show in the video. But them saying rude things to him and making him do things he shouldn't was just pure bullying tactics. But hopefully he has people in his life that will help him not choose such a thing for content again...

You have to dig around, Been a fan J-metal and V-kei for more than a decade. Gazette, Dir en Grey are a good start. Crystal Lake for a more western metalcore sound
Japan has a solid metal scene but this is not part of it. Visual Kei is its own thing, and honestly its really exclusive. I guarantee the fans' twitters are in an uproar over this collab
I listen to VK, but CDawg brought me here. I didn't know about this band before, thanks CDawg. EDIT: But of course, turns out the vocalist and guitarist used to be in DIV. These VK guys are just shuffling into different bands like every 5 years 😅 It feels like seeing an old acquaintance who changed their name and job.

Holy smokes been waiting so long but this was purely amazing! And these are the most brutal vocals we've heard from Chisa ever! So happy to have him and Shinji back in the band with deep DIV influence! I really disliked the last MV single but this one blew me away!
I just discovered Acme and boy, oh boy, if it wasn't for Connor i wouldn't be able to know such a wonderful band, the musics, the style, the energy.. Everything is amazing!

I know I’m late, but for everyone saying the girls were random, I think (I’m no expert) that they were supposed to kind of fit the rotten, corrupted theme of the song, it was just executed a little poorly. I’m sure it would have made sense if their moves went with the song a little better, but I think they were there to help establish the theme of the song😊
