Steve Stevens is one of the most underrated guitarists in rock history... His peers know what he is about and respect him enormously but the public just doesn't get it. Not only was he a Craftsman and an innovator he was a PERFORMER. Just watch that physicality! He is serving you Rockstar

My mom told me growing up that she had seen a Billy Idol interview where he admitted that he was very shy by nature, and i believe he was even in a state of stage fear before he got a breakthrough with his music. It doesnt show on him,so i guess he was able to cure himself through performing. He said he became a different person once the music started. Me and my moms common favourite song by him is: Shock To The System. But i would also recommend: Eyes Without A Face

My 1980s was filled with Billy Idol . I miss the ORIGINAL MTV , Music Television and Midnight Saturday Night for the Head Bangers Ball ............The 80's were the best decade in the history of humanity , to be a Teen in the 80's was EPIC in the true sense of the word . The Music from the 60s , 70s and 80's was always playing on the Boom Box Stereo , we all had a Boom Box and a Sony Walkman . from SADA to Motley Cru , Iron Maiden to Duran Duran , AC/DC , the Police , RUSH , Judas Priest , Ozzy and the Ultimate Sin with Jake E. Lee , the Cult , The Cure , Danzig , Metallica , Pantera , Mega Death So much music to cover , look at the back of a Pack of Ernie Ball Slinky's ......the list is a mile long .

This song played through the whole 80's how I miss that kind of music.
When I hear the term pop music, I always immediately think of eighties guitar rock pop, not the current one. So funny and incredible that you warn of his vampire looks. When I was a kid in my 80's I kinda thought Billy Idol might be a vampire. It's the ultimate vampire look.
Also, the 80's were kinda creepy and full of scary shows & movies and rockers/goths were very often portrayed as the vampires. In the Canadian series -The little vampire(1985)- little Rüdiger had a big brother who looked a lot like Billy Idol and was a rocker!!! Do you love Halloween? THEN YOU MUST, errrm, just PLEASE watch/hear the theme song by -Little Vampire- it's actually pure Halloween, ultra scary if you're six or seven years old.
Billy Idol is an eighties legend. Please check out Eyes Without A Face or Sweet 16, you will be so surprised.
    Hugz
