Dear Kamya, Greetings! I wanted to bring to your attention some concerns regarding your review of Hotel Sterling Lake Palace, Alleppey. It appeared overly favorable and, unfortunately, didn’t align with my recent experience at the property. Currently, I’m staying in the Lake Premium View room, which is in poor condition with worn-out beds and fixtures. The breakfast spread, though limited (which is acceptable), was marred by poor service, with items not replenished unless specifically requested multiple times. The sunset boat was dilapidated, life jackets were dirty, and there were ants on the floor. While dinner was satisfactory, I believe this property does not meet five-star standards and should be rated closer to three stars. Although the staff were courteous, they seemed overwhelmed, particularly during check-in and breakfast, as complaints were coming from many guests. I hope that future reviews can provide a fair and unbiased view, even if part of a promotion, as they are trusted by many of us. I overlooked other reviews after trusting yours. Glad someone said this. I booked this hotel after watching this video. I was so excited to visit it property but my excitement soon faded away seeing the unkempt rooms.

Stayed for 4 days in this resort and apart from the view everything is pretty bad . Food is pathetic.rooms are smelly . Balconies are full of pigeons shit. 😢

Pathetic hotel with poor hospitality.
The food is bad. The rooms are unkept and dirty.
The only saving grace was the spa.
Extremely poor facilities and service food is pathetic smelly bed , rooms are horrible from inside very bad experience.
