Another solid one by the legendary butcher knife wielding DJ known as Tonberry. :) Progressive has always remained in that grey area, and that is a great thing. The other genres and their sub-genres have changed so much since the 90s and 00s that they're somewhat unrecognizable now.
Thank You. There is a big mess with the genres overall and I blame especially Beatport for categorizing tracks into genres where they don't belong. Quality music is always out there, but the style under which the tracks are being sold is confusing. Something what could be considered as tech-house in the early 00s is now under techno etc.
@@tonberry277 I still think Digitally Imported had it right until they went to hell in hand basket some years back. It seems like the categorizing is being done by people who have no idea what makes genres their respective genres. To them, it all falls under Techno. It's ElEcTrOnIc, ThErEfOrE TECHNO!
