Anyone that was capable of writing “Careless Whisper” at 17 years old is one very intelligent, honest, very aware of his surroundings, certainly was no one’s fool and had a great sense of humor. George’s father wanted him to be a lawyer and he certainly would have made a brilliant attorney but thank our lucky stars George wanted to be a pop star. If anyone is questioning George’s intelligence all they have to do is read the lyrics to the songs he wrote. People need to get over one’s sexual preference. Thank you George Michael for being you.

I've always disliked the terms we apply to deaths 'gone too soon', 'far too early' and such. Death knows it's own time. I take it more that George, God love him, had completed his work here on this mortal coil. We are most fortunate to have myriads of film, tape, video and vinyl, to hear his profound words, his viewpoints on various topics & issues. We can refer to them anytime. George is finally free of all & any pain he suffered here. For that, one can only be grateful. We were so blessed to have had him for as long as we did. ✌💜💜💜

I'm really really proud of the way George gave account of himself here and didn't let the interviewer intimidate him. I know this guy whoever he is thinks he's doing his job as a journalist and playing devil's advocate but he defeats the point of the interview if your head is left buzzing because you thought you were going to watch a civilised discussion and the interviewer turns it in to anything but.

admire his flawlessness, his humble yet self-confident being, without ever being arrogant.
gifted, gifted with common sense, gifted with a sense of humor.
    the best, my God.
even the reference to his song "star people" misled that interviewer ... the meaning of the song was PERFECTLY RELEVANT TO THE TOPIC. ah, if only you were still here ... the world needs your help so much, if you go give us a hand from Heaven, here still many people love you, and are grateful to you, for your music, your voice .. . for your life.

i wasn’t born yet and since i don’t even know how’s going politics nowadays i don’t even now then. but i see, i capture, i understand that the idea he was trying to express was right and fair.
and i’m shocked to see how brave and admirable he was: he kept trying talking about a strange situation while i could perfectly sat on his sofa listening and re listening to his own songs enjoying what he has done, but no, he was a true Human, a true Man. he brought his ideas against the massive giants of media.

Interviewers like this (sorry to say, old white males who believe they are special and entitled simply because they are old white males) seemed to believe they were going to "get" George Michael in some way which, of course, then they were shocked to find how much GM understood, how much he knew, how articulate and passionate he was and that he himself was not the lapdog that Blair showed himself to be. The fact Sebastian opened by asking if GM wrote the song and against the war in Iraq because it was "fashionable" is the first shot out of the gate to try to immediately paint GM as frivolous - it was intentional. It is so satisfying when these guys get confronted with the reality of who GM truly was. The interviewer here came off as a would be bully and someone else other than GM might have taken the bait.
