ANDY HOWELLS chats to television and stand-up star RHOD GILBERT about his new comedy show Rhod Gilbert & the Giant Grapefruit.
As one of the UK’s leading stand-up comedy talents, Rhod Gilbert has enjoyed many successful years as a star of television and radio. The Welsh stand-up A-lister has tackled a wide variety of subject matter in his live shows from the light-hearted aspects of tog ratings and luggage to the darker aspects of infertility and Alzheimer’s.
Rhod commences a new 130-date nationwide tour entitled Rhod Gilbert & the Giant Grapefruit. The show follows Rhod receiving the all-clear after undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy at Cardiff’s Velindre Cancer Centre because of his diagnosis in June 2022.
