And amazing to see the updates and what’s been achieved so far. I’m kind of surprised that eindhoven wasn’t able to offer another space. Really hope you find a perfect longterm spot!
Spain is littered with great empty buildings of all sorts in fantastic locations. I have one in mind with all you need, maintained by an open source fan, but it has only one bus an no train connections, 40km from Valencia city in a beautiful mountain setting. An old abandoned textile factory in between small farming terraces at the bottom of a small hillside town with most basic services, full of cheap empty houses and apartments, free delicious spring water, open water canals, minutes walk from nice waterfalls, wildlife, bars, post & bank offices etc. I'm living off-grid much further south in the Tabernas Desert, where I plan to have a precious plastic section in my upcoming OSH development project, in our off-grid village in a natural park, but there is considerable reconstruction of ruined buildings needed before I can invite you. (New buildings not allowed)
Spain is not a good place to develop a iniciative like this, goverment does not support or help, so they can find a better place out Spain. Place could be good, but the politics I don't think so.
@@EduMrTeiks GOOD! I do NOT support ANY project or individual that accepts loot money from the government mafia stolen by perpetual extortion of us tax-cattle victims. Spain is GREAT presicely because it's so easy to be agorist and build local communal economies without constant harassment from government mafia beurocrats or their fiscal entrapment schemes. Remember kids; Taxation is THEFT! My iterations of the PP machines will all be under the open source BipCot no-gov anti-coersion license. Edit: Spain is also incredibly cheap to live in, I moved from Sweden and has been here doing OSH projects for 9 years+, and there are lots of them, OSH conferences, entire physical communities like Ca La Fou, who hosts OSH devs like Daniel O'Connell from Open Source Low Tech. (maybe talk to them!). In northern Spain there are town halls giving away entire (abandoned) villages to groups and aspiring communities with solid plans. Search "Pueblos abandonadas [region]". (I prefer the hot south with tapas culture!)
I guess you already found a new place but if you still need to find something you should look into renting an old Army barracks, hotels, summer camps, horse farms, boarding schools, churches, train stations and other government or municipally owned properties. The German Train (DB Bahn) has a website where they list auctions for their old properties. Many times they can be bought or rented for extremely cheap. There is even the possibility of getting government funding because you are doing something positive for the environment. I have seen HUGE properties for pennies and sometimes they even include machine shops. There also may be big multinational companies that own properties they no longer use such as Autoparts chain stores. They could be eligible for a tax break if they donate the property and it would more than pay for itself in free advertising for them. So that may be another contact point you could try. I hope you see this and maybe it can help you find a more permanent home. I would suggest writing an email with some information about your project and sending it to the PR departments of ALL the possible sources I listed above. It is how you found your last place so maybe it will work again. I live in NRW Germany and there are TONS of empty buildings around Cologne/Essen/Achen/Duesseldorf area which is like the German Silicon Valley.
You guys should contact 'van werven recycling' they already do plastic recycling in collaboration with students. They might have space they're willing to trade for work.
I suggest you guys to establish your headquarters in the Yemen which located in the middle of the earth and also join road from sea , roads or even air which conntected between the most l consuming foods. Think about it
Guys if you move here the company I work at puts out several dozen 1meter cubed boxes full of CLEAN plastic they dump every month. I have been wanting to start a precious plastic shop so I can take this so I can make sure it's properly recycled (our contractors are shite) But if you guys came we could get them and all their other facilities plastic for enough material to make a lot of stuff... like an ecovillage made of recycables?
I saw a video of a bike powered shredder at an event in cardiff once, but couldn't figure out who was behind it. Some quality plastic recycling equipment is made in south wales at CR Clarke - in case you weren't already aware.
@@jorgevaldes3965 Yes I think there is a link in there will all 2D drawings to modify the shredder dimensions. If you can't find it let me know and I will try
It would be less of a problem if I only put 1 page of the already assembled shredders and the plans in a price and now and the shipments by mail or at least reply a message
I have un-liked the FB group and am now un-subscribing here. I am disgusted at the price of the equipment. You should have had a solution to reduce the cost of entry, you didn't, after years of following you [ what is Phonebloks!? ], I see no great venture for using this model. Good luck #pyramidScheme
I am a patreon and I don't really want to have anything from you guys. Please put all your efforts towards your open source mission❤️
British Columbia Canada needs this project
Hope it goes well for you guys!
