Not when you have to fix them. The 430s can be considered affordable but the 460s require a lot more (expensive) maintenance than the 430. If you're looking for an actual bargain look at a 2015 es 350. It's not an Ls but is is still very nice and you will be able to keep it nice without going broke.
@@MSG685 true, no where near the experience of an ls though lol. I had the maintenance in mind. Control arms, brake actuator, mark Levinson amp, valley plate, list goes on. Gotta keep in mind these where close to 100k dollar cars at the time.

I have a 2014 LS460. The car comes standard with 386 hp, not 360 hp. Around town and mostly town, I've been getting 14-15 mpg but on the fwy, more than 25 mpg, which is not at all bad. The car has very decent acceleration, and virtually nothing has needed to be fixed. Just fluid changes and basic upkeep and it just goes. Very quiet. The car holds 4 people extremely well and very comfortably. It's a really nice ride, and when picked up used in almost any year, with low milage, you can't go wrong. No I do not sell cars, I just like the LS460, as it is a very good car to own and drive comfortably.
The AWD model as shown in this video makes 360hp and its because it produces peak torque lower in the rev range which helps with AWD. normally they are 386 hp with RWD.
I got a 2013, ls460 awd, I believe that the awd actually does have closer to 365 hp while the rwd has the full 385 hp. I bought it and got a 3rd party warranty through endurance im glad I did bc the car had 74xxx miles when I bought it and I knew that issues would arise soon regardless of how well made the car was, after getting all 4 struts replaced for a $100 decidable, instead of the $2700 the shop would have charged me. Fantastic car all around, but I wouldn't get one without a warranty
@James-bx6yd great car so far. I had to change the brakes and rotors. Also had to overhaul the AC system. No other issue so far. But its very pricey to maintain but very reliable.
I just bought this car and it drives like a dream , my only complaint is that theres no where to rest your phone and the cup holders are very small and im coming from driving a pick truck for 9 years my Sierra had 6 huge cup holders in the front alone easily fit my Yeti and i had a spot for my cell phone and even a tablet ! I can barely stick a medium cup of coffee from McDonald's and im not exaggerating! Lol Im more of a truck guy I bought this to drive in the meantime the next Sierra model comes out and I only sold my truck cuz someone made me a big offer i couldn't turn down
We just got 2 weeks ago a 2008 Lexus LS460 RWD and definitely love it and we get our 91 premium in our car when we get gas we switched out from our 10 Toyota Avalon limited to the LS460 both my wife and I are so very thankful
I just bought a 17' black on black with black lexus rims, absolutely beautiful car. I love the drive and will keep as a garage hot rod when im old 😅 thats the plan anyway
It might be. But I would also nominate a 2003-2011 Lincoln Town car. I have a 2004 TC and there is nothing quite like it as far as how it drives, comfort and reliability. Did I mention parts are cheap.
Just picked up a 2014 with 150K on the odometer. One owner, clean history, serviced by Lexus dealer every 5k and performed all recommended maintenance. Paid $18k for a $80k car. I’m looking forward to the next 150k miles of ownership. Did the apple CarPlay upgrade work well?
That is a nice review on a very nice car. One thing that would that would make it better is if you would have referred to all of the different items as "the", and not "your", it's proper English to say "the" it's improper English to call things that are not actually ours "yours" for obvious reasons.
I thought you stole my car, I had to check the garage. Silver AWD 2016 Black interior, soft close doors. But when you got to Apple Carplay, I don't have that. So I guess you didn't steal. Bought three years ago with 60,000 miles, runs great, no issues don't put many miles on, now has 70k miles. The only issue is at night with the black interior the car is really dark when you get in or out.
The higher trim, the L, costs a little more than the regular 460. This one was had for just under $35k. So I’d guess around $40k used. MSRP on the L is $78k.
Have you compared it with the LS430 in terms of quietness at speed, road noise/wind noise, is the LS460 better? There seems to be many different opinions online. The obvious would be that the newer models always are quieter.
This generation has been seen to do past 400k miles and more. You don't know what you're talking about. The only real problem they have is the brake actuator and that's not even common.

Simply a piece of art that comes with a lot of comfort. Every time you get inside one of these, you feel that you’re in business class.
