I do not want to backup my cloud storage, but I want to backup my PC's storage, because that is where my data primarily resides!

I use Backblaze for data backup. Backblaze backs up everything same as Carbonite and Mozy, but without the size, format limitations, and bandwidth throttling that Carbonite and Mozy do. Backblaze also allows backup of external devices for same cost. For a cloud drive, I use my own Nextcloud instance.

I love how you present this useful information - great work and great presentation!

Do you use cloud storage? Which provider? Are you using it for backup, or something else? (I use all of the big three: Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive for a couple of different styles of backing up, as well as file sharing with others.)

I use duplicacy with OneDrive and I use Wasabi because it’s way faster then Backblaze B2

Thinking as best I can about backup; can a person do much better than use all of these three: Keep important files on computer, *and* upload these important files to online storage account, *and* put copies of these files onto external local disk storage?

I am not too decisive about the best way to arrange a set of folders and subfolders for the files I might intend to backup from the computer into both online storage and local external disk storage. My current thinking is to setup a set of folders and subfolders on the computer, and duplicate this whole structure on the online storage and on the local external disk storage. I am not sure if this is the best thinking.

Thanks for your video, but Wondering whether you can suggest any app to transfer files faster and in a reliable manner without loosing files to say One Drive as I find uploading a gig of general data to be unpredictable with what gets there? Example it will upload folders but some have no files. Look forward to your reply.

Should a person trying, testing, or using two different online storage services, should the person use a separate email account for each storage service? One email address for one of the online cloud service, and another email address for the other online cloud service?

      I don't see a strong reason to. I don't.

Hi is it safe to have multiple hard drive that has the same photos to protect photos

Safe? Sure. Does it add significant protection? Not really -- if both disks are in the same computer then both disks are at risk of the same problem (like the power supply damaging them both at the same time). Better to have an external disk. Better still to use cloud storage. The further away from the original the copy is, the more things it's protected from.

So can I do an automatic image backup each day to a 2nd HD or external HD? I don't want to have to remember to do this, just want it backed up each day at a time I specify.

Yes. backup tools like Macrium Reflect, EaseUS Todo and others do exactly that.
