    As a guy that has been born and raised in Sioux Falls, the minor league sports is awesome! Stampede and Canaries are my favorite personally and love to support them. Then you have the Storm and the Skyforce. Skyforce are affiliated with an NBA team. Many NHL scouts come to watch the Stampede and they can be drafted later. I don't care if Sioux Falls doesn't have a major sports team. The pentagon brings MMA fights and college basketball to Sioux Falls all the time and hosts the Summit League Tournament.

    • @RealtorRamz

      It definitely is just a point that there are no Major league sports teams here. But I definitely AGREE with you on your take with what sports we do have here in Sioux Falls! It's still exciting and there are many minor league teams here and they provide fantastic entertainment. Thanks for checking out my video!

      @DenaliDad 2 года назад +2

      Minor league sports are better, anyway. Though the level of play is lower, these are young, hungry, up-and-coming professionals who are working hard to impress the system they're in. The parks and venues are smaller, the prices lower, and the experience an all-around better quality. Who needs whiney sniveling entitled millionaires play when you can watch *REAL* baseball, basketball and hockey close up? And the players will actually sign your program or baseball!

    This guy is a real downer. He could turn this whole thing around, but he is too shallow to see what wonderful things to do year round. I hope he lives in Redfield or some other location such as Summit or Fedora, so he spend his time in his car or truck so he can shop and get high quality medical assistance.

    Cute video. You missed the real #1 reason not to move to Sioux Falls. The almost inescapable stink of the Smithfield Pork processing plant, which is located not just outside the city, but WITHIN the city. If you like a cloyish, sickening mixture or hot dog and sewage stench blanketing downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods a few times a week, then come to Sioux Falls.
    You can only get away from it if you live far south, like 41st or lower, or far west, like beyond Marion.
    Bonus reason to not move to SF...the half billion dollar WHolestone pork processing plant that will be operational in 2025, which will ADD to the stink. ALSO being built within the city.

    The summer and winter weather isn't as extreme as the narrator suggests. Better than Texas in the Summer, and better than Montana in the winter. The pot holes aren't a big deal or huge problem. Street department is pretty good about staying on top. Most people drive pickups and SUV's. And Sioux Falls isn't flat land. Very hilly in many spots, which makes it interesting to travel through. Not boring. Plenty of minor league and college teams in the area and the entertainment is great. And who wants to see the ocean when the Missouri River has great fresh water beaches, as well as game and fishing opportunities. This must be a comedy video.
