- Join us from Broughton Beach on Gower as we laugh our way through some very sad news and share our Turkey holiday cost as part of our 5 months holiday this winter.

Great to see you again, sorry for your loss 💕 we visited Kennexstone when we were caravaning in Wales but you were on your days off, we went to Rhossili and walked to worms head, but the tide was in so couldn’t get on the island, 5 months away in the winter months sounds good to me, enjoying listening to your next venture ❤
Yes people are always surprised that we have days off… even our boss says what you want the whole day off? 😂 xx

It will be interesting to see how it is in Turkey now as we last went in 11 years ago. We usually manage to get friends subscribers to join in on the beer reviews.. I’m sure we will have a good response 😀

Turkey has got very expensive over the last couple of years. We had a summer house there for 15 years and spent up to 15 weeks annually in it but sold up in 2020. Went back for a month, rental, last year and was astounded at the cost of eating out the drinks were more than in a UK pub in many venues, even in the places off the main drag we were paying £2.50-3.00 for an Effes. Take a lot of spondiles.
Be interesting to see how it’s changed since we last went… we won’t be eating out all the time as we have self catering but we will only have our set budget as it’s got to last us all the 5 months 😊

Definitely recommend a day trip to Timafaya don’t forget to use Davetravelon for the excursions say the Gypsy Souls sent you 😊 we love the Ancla bar in PDC you’ll need to google it.. it’s under Wey West Bar x

Hi both just watching your vlog. We have booked the Flix bus from Swansea to Bristol Airport for our trip to Tenerife a week Friday, total cost return including booking our seats just under £30. It was going to cost us £150 to park the car plus fuel. Hugs to you both xx
We didn’t bother booking seats so maybe that’s why we only paid £10.98 but is yours return? We will use Flixbus for all our journeys now such good value Gatwick from Swansea was £11.99 each madness but maybe if you book in advance it’s cheaper… they also changed my date as our flight was changed and no admin fee either thumbs up to Flixbus x
Yeah the further in advance you book the cheaper it is, I checked the bus prices yesterday and our journey to Bristol airport has doubled in price. I think it's like flight prices, so many seats at the cheapest price then they start rising, but the bus is almost full now. Xx
Yeah return, it's a bit like airline prices so many seats at the cheapest price then when they've been sold they start rising.Yesterday I looked at the bus to see if it was full, it's almost full and the price is double what we paid to go up but the same price coming back. The sooner you can book the cheaper it is. Xx
