I hope you give us a glance of that Christmas tree with all the world's ornaments. We have thought about doing a separate one just for our travel memories ornaments.
I’ve been following along on your adventure. Thank you for sharing your daily life and your amazing excursions. Your work on the videos is greatly appreciated and immensely enjoyed!
My grandfather was in the royal British navy for most of his life. First and second world wars and before between and after. He sailed most of the world but said the Seychelles was the most beautiful place in the world! Hopefully it’s still s beautiful.
I too look so forward to your videos! I check every morning for a new one, even though I know you only post every few days. Yes, there are many other travelers who are posting up to date videos of this trip, but I wait to watch yours. PS, I can’t wait to hear what happened in Angola, Nancy!
Thanks so much for your kind words. And we probably talk about Angola amongst our friends more than any other port. All I can say is I don’t want to go back.
OOh I was born in Mauritius but came to England at just 2 weeks old - I have a half brother in Mauritius so looking forward to the next videos to see m birth place xx
Thanks so much for the videos. I'm looking at serenade for Alaska next year. Any rumors floating around about keeping the soda freestyle machines and laundry after the world cruise ends?
We do not have soda, freestyle machines here. They did give us cups that we reuse and can have filled with soda at the bars, but no freestyle machines. Don’t know about the laundry. Potentially, we might see you…. our next adventures will be shared soon.
The smell of the tuna factory reminds me of visiting Guadaloupe in the Caribbean in the mid-70's; our ship docked next to a sugar factory. If you've never smelled a sugar factory before - IT STINKS! It was really hard to be outside, it was awful.
That’s a difficult thing to answer. Most places take credit cards and so there have been very few times that we’ve had to take money out of an ATM. It depends on what we’re doing in the port and how long we are in the country using that type of currency.
We've actually filmed it three times and have all the video we're thinking once we get back we may put something together, but it's very difficult to do right now on the ship
Not just a playground for UAE, but the Russians also. Their Superyachts have been hanging out there for a few years now-since the start of the war with Ukraine.
I sent you a note before saying I will be joining your cruise for Copenhagen to Amsterdam. I was wondering if you have been uploading your videos from the ship's WIFI or if you have to go to shore to upload videos. FYI, there will be WIFI at the outdoor terminal at Aarhus, Denmark as well as at their library. The Copenhagen terminal also has free WIFI. I have a meeting at what would be midnight on August 13th / 14th while we are in Norway. Has the WIFI been good enough for you folks to call home from the ship. I need to know if I will be able to call in and attend the meeting to take notes or if I shouldn't even try. I know that I did manage to do an on line meeting once for 2 1/2 hours from 3am - 5:30 am and the internet guy on the ship was surprised that I was able to do that. I know that I had a friend call me when I was on line on the ship once and we were able to talk but both times I was on an NCL ship. I've heard that RCL is using StarLink so it might be better.
Starlink has been wonderful. We upload our videos on the ship. Places like India or China did not allow us to use Starlink but for the rest of the journey there should be no issues. Be sure to say hi to us when you’re on board.
Oh all of WC videos being made yours is still my favorite format! Thank you for the care and time you put into making them❣️
Glad you like them!

We certainly will this Christmas

Always look forward to your new episode, and big 👍 to your honest, respectful comments to each port and city you visited .
Thanks so much for these kind words. We appreciate them.
Another amazing video! We are really enjoying your world cruise. Love all the information on the ports along with what is happening on the ship! 💖

Hi. I was waiting for the Africa part of this journey. I love that you find the beauty in simple lovely things. I look forward to more of Africa.
More to come, but wait till you see our day in Angola😳

The Seychelles were beautiful. They were on the expensive side, but absolutely beautiful.
Thanks for another wonderful look at our world.
Our pleasure!
Very nice video, thank you!❤
Glad you liked it!
Wow!!! Thanks for sharing

They weren't a lot of fun

I think I saw a lot of this on the Amazing race.....lovely!
We watch that show as well and often comment , oh! The Amazing Race was here

Wonderful! Thank you for sharing this bit about yourself. As we love to hear things like this about our followers.😀
I am jealous. Good for you.
Thank you!

Can you answer a question about Nancy?
Does she sell seashells by the Seychelles?
We love this!😂

They really do, 😲
as far as exchanging money for various ports what is the amount you would suggest on average? 100 dollars worth for 2 people or more?
That’s a difficult thing to answer. Most places take credit cards and so there have been very few times that we’ve had to take money out of an ATM. It depends on what we’re doing in the port and how long we are in the country using that type of currency.
Have you given up trying to make a ship tour?
We've actually filmed it three times and have all the video we're thinking once we get back we may put something together, but it's very difficult to do right now on the ship
How unfortunate to have that “fish smell” at your docking location. I don’t think I would have done very well with that.
To was strong. 😳
Would you go back to the Seychelles?
Probably not, it was very beautiful but outrageously expensive and difficult to get to press from the US
Not just a playground for UAE, but the Russians also. Their Superyachts have been hanging out there for a few years now-since the start of the war with Ukraine.
You are correct, we've seen that in several ports

Don't be surprised if you find a cruising duck on your door.
First stop in Africa is on an Island and not a desert? That's certainly unexpected. Looks gorgeous.
That's right you don't really think of the continent of Africa that way but it is as Broad and diverse as other places such as the Americas
