      People weren’t ask if they wanted a multicultural country, traditions will die away through time until we forget who we are , the EU are partially to blame for this with open borders, even the loyalists have embraced Irish ☘️ culture and are more understood on what’s going on .

    What was the point of Irish independence if ultimately you are colonised by a foreign invasion orchestrated by the Irish Government........no point at all. Remember the Islamic invasion of Spain and Portugal....all was lost for centuries......

  • @tytlersbicycle

    The common excuse for the flooding of European nations by foreigners is that they deserve it because of colonialism. That logic breaks down however when you realize that countries such as Ireland and Scotland, which have also fallen prey to this, never held colonies and were in fact themselves colonized.

    • @Leon.Stanic
      @Leon.Stanic 2 года назад +19

      Also when they say that, they are basically admiting that their presence is a "punishment" and harmful to Europeans.

    • @Tehinstrumentalist
      @Tehinstrumentalist 2 года назад +15

      Scotland wasn't colonised, it was amalgamated, wales is a harder case as they werent colonised, but conquered, at around the same time as England during the Norman Conquest.
      It falls over when they say "diversity is good" in the same breathe as "this is what you get for colonialism, its a punishment". Mental gymnastics are an awful thing to fight against.
      All the Britons, Irish, islanders; we need to stand together. If we keep bickering over our history instead of facing modern reality, that history will be erased by those who wish to conquer us.

    • @Tehinstrumentalist
      @Tehinstrumentalist 2 года назад +9

      Scotland also did hold colonies, they were one of the most frighteningly effective enforcers of the British Empire. (Novia Scotia is effectively latin for "new scotland")

      @@Tehinstrumentalist Actually Wales wasn't conquered it was conned by Edward who couldn't afford the cost of continued ruinously expensive castle building and campaigning. It was then colonized in the towns with large castles. But the Welsh still proved to be a handful with guerilla tactics and the English never managed outside the Castle walls. Not bad for a population then of just over 250000 then. So he bought of the 4 -5 Princes (of Wales?) at that time with lands and titles with a proposal to merge the title. He offered only ONE Prince of Wales who would be the to his thrown in perpetuity. The POW would be born in Wales and speak Welsh as part of the deal. A practice that continues to this day. Without wishing to indicate any degree of racism, - and this is true I think for most Irish people who I fully believe would say the same thing - the problem is caused by the growth in free-fall internationalism so that people can go anywhere anytime and if they have the money, put up their tent and be salivated over for their wealth irrespective of whatever else they may bring. In most situations that is not a problem but as it has been experienced and is reflected on here it is a question of becoming an insidious 'invasion' of an alien culture that looks to subvert the host to its way of living rather than enjoying the benefit of being allowed to co-exist with it in peace and harmony. London is now oft referred to as Londonistan. The 'woke' agenda that accompanies what is happening falsifies reality in many ways. Obviously, where a population of ducks have a large separate area within their compass where reside say, Geese, they have a right to and be expected to vote a representative. The problem is if there are eventually more Geese in the wider expanse than Ducks then the Ducks will never gain back their representation. The population of black people in Britain is a mere 4.8% of which 3.5% live in England and some 7.5% are Asian but to watch mainstream media you'd think there was at least 50%. And so twill happen to Dublinistan. Mosques in Germany have been paid for in huge numbers by Saudi Arabia who want to spread their ideology over all else and therefore by pouring money into Western foreign countries they are buying their presence and influence and numerically are set to eventually of course overwhelm their hosts. That's a given. They believe that by supporting the migration of huge numbers of muslims to christian or formerly Christian countries, they will eventually rule those countries as they will outnumber their hosts' citizenry. And they're right. It's an incontrovetible fact. Our man above who walked in the park is right in what he suggests but there is absolutely nothing that can be done about it because politicians are the worst and most inept people to expect to be rational. Money is God. You have to laugh though because for centuries leading up to the emergence of the free state, the Irish hated 'Johnny Foreigner', his own next-door neighbour, on the basis he wasn't Irish enough. See "I'm Irish, You Know'" by Somerville Browne on Amazon. But really what would the 'lads think if you could bring them back today and see Ireland after it surrendered itself to the EU. They wasted their lives.

    Thank you for expressing your feelings on the state of Ireland. I am younger than yourself but I remember a country of Irish people with a sense of pride. I remember the ads on TV and how they were representative of my people. I remember how we loved the Chieftains and how their music adorned so much of RTE's output.
    I can feel your despondency and I too sometimes feel like finding an excuse not to care. I've heard lots of excuses over the last 4 years or so since I've really looked at what is going on in Ireland and elsewhere and I have come to think that we humans are more animal than we were led to believe and that our animal instincts are very powerful. Your feelings didn't come from nowhere and our "normie" brothers see a lot of what we see as well.
    I am not going to ramble, but I am tired of losing and so I try in my small way to fight back. Be proud that you are a man and that it is in your nature to care about your "tribe" so to speak.

It only took two generations to completely change the demographics of London. My old middle school went from around 80% British white to less than 2% in a single generation. @@stephencollins9062 I believe that most Scots see the English as friends mate. What I have noticed with them (well, the limited amount I have had contact with ofc) is that they seem to be very progressive.
      This is probably because they haven't yet experienced the kind of immigration that other Western countries such as England have ofc. We are all a product of our environment and so it's understandable. They see us as being racist but it's hard not to be when your communities are completely wiped out. We can't blame the immigrants as they are just people like us trying to live the best life they can ofc but it does shape our opinions on the whole immigration debate
      This is why, the worst thing Scotland can do is leave the UK and I will explain why...
      Within the UK framework, just as with NI/Wales, Scotland doesn't have to compete. This is how they've been able to avoid mass immigration and remain a fairly homogenous society. To leave the UK would more than likely change all of this.

People moving to a country should keep their own culture but at the same time they should assimilate into their new country. If you don’t have any desire to assimilate you should not have left your original country.

    My maternal grandmothers maiden name was Sullivan, my mother is so fascinated by our Irish roots, I even seriously dated a girl who both her parents were from Belfast, it is so heart breaking to see what is going on in Europe, On my fathers side his grandfather was from Sweden, another country that is basically lost.

      My 4x great grandmother was a Sullivan. I am English and haven't taken much of an interest in in Ireland tbh, but I'm saddened to see Ireland go the same way as England.
      It is only going to get worse for both countries. We once had freedom of speech and now we have hate speech laws to keep the foreigners happy, freedom of association but no longer, we once had the freedom to eat whatever we what, now pork is banned in many schools across England all to keep the foreigners happy.

    Regardless of how anyone might feel about it, Catholicism is at the heart of the Republic’s identity. The Faith has slowly diminished over the past few decades, and as a result, Ireland’s more recently adopted public policies that can’t be reconciled with this identity. You can’t chip away at such a foundational element of your national identity and expect to remain fundamentally who you are as a people.

      Of course you can be proud of how Ireland has become a modern and prosperous country standing up for itself in the world. Nobody takes guff from the church any more. Something about child abuse. Still coming out slowly from various church bureaucracies around the world. Amazing how they thought they could sacrifice children to protect their precious wealth and status. It's a good thing that their control has been shaken off. Faith is a very bad way to tell whether something is true or not.
